Asbury Seminary Chapel

Asbury Seminary Chapel Chapel services in Estes Chapel, the worshiping heartbeat of Asbury Seminary's Wilmore Campus. Worship is the most important work of God’s people.

Our worship in both its diversity and its unity is an encounter with the living God through the risen Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. When the people of God gather, the Spirit is free to move them to worship in diverse ways. Worship is a channel of grace in which we praise, pray, preach, and partake in the sacrament of Holy Communion. Chapel is the heartbeat of our Asbury Seminary communit

y. We gather together as one body to worship one Lord in one spirit. A variety of preachers, teachers, and leaders from around the world add to the richness of our worship experiences. Holy Communion is celebrated as a part of our chapel service every Wednesday, while Daily Eucharist is provided every other day of the week at noon in either Estes or Fletcher Chapel. Chapel services are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11am in Estes Chapel. Daily Eucharist services are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at noon. There are a variety of opportunities for students to meaningfully serve in chapel worship: liturgists, communion servers, choir, contemporary worship teams, chapel internships, etc. Please contact the chapel office if you are interested in serving. You can listen to previous chapel services online here: http://asburyseminary.edu/students/chapel/archive/ or you can check us out on iTunes.

At our core, we want to be a community of leaders centered on seeking God in prayer. Join us for a set-apart space to do that this Thursday morning!

All year, we have met monthly for 30 minutes of Morning Staff Prayer: a space where all staff, faculty, and student workers are invited to seek God’s presence, align our work with His purposes, unite our hearts in prayer, and encourage one another in Christ. We are continuing that this month, and would love to see you this Thursday (May 21) from 7:30-8AM!

We'll meet by the Fountain on the campus green unless the weather is unfavorable (if so, we'll gather in the Global Alumni Center instead). See you there!

What an incredible year it has been meeting with the Lord in this space together. We’re excited to have one more opportunity to worship together in Chapel before the summer — 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟑!

We'll gather at 11:00 A.M. in Estes (or via livestream here on Facebook, or asbury.to/live) for worship, prayer, a message from Rev. Dr. Lyndol Loyd, and Communion.

As you begin to rest after finals week and a full semester, we hope this time together offers space to reflect, celebrate, worship, and be renewed in God’s presence as a community. Invite a friend to join you and we'll see you there!

Friends: press pause on all the busyness of finals week to gather in worship together! We're excited to hear from a few students in our community testifying to God's goodness, presence and power within their lives. After service, Rev. Kelli Sorg will lead us in Daily Eucharist at the Table. See you at 11 A.M. (ET)!

It's Finals Week! 📚 We only have one Chapel this week, and like every spring, its a special one — space to hear testimonies from 3 students and worship through song together. That's this Wednesday, May 6, at 11 A.M. (in Estes, or via livestream here or at asbury.to/live)!

Students: we know this is a busy week. We are praying for you! We would love to see you in worship this Wednesday as you pause from studying to celebrate a few stories of God's work among us. See you then!
