Wilmore FMC Bible Quiz Team A place to keep parents and friends updated with news about the Wilmore, KY Free Methodist Church Bible Quiz Team.

We had a great quiz meet today in Bedford, Indiana and we quizzed over our last new material for the year! Next month, we quiz over all the material in Indianapolis! We appreciate all the prayers this season and as we look towards post season getting ready for nationals at the end of June.

We had a great quiz meet in Greenville, Illinois quizzing over Galatians 4-Colossians 1! We also welcomed our newcomers in their first ever meet! Next month we quiz over the last of our material for the year in Bedford, Indiana! Thank you all so much for praying for our tournaments and our quizzers!

We had a fantastic quiz meet in Bloomington Indiana! We quizzed over Acts 11-13. Next month we have our home meet at WFMC! We invite you to come and support our quizzers and see what quizzing is all about! We also welcome any 5th-11th graders who want to see what quizzing is to join us for newcomers! We have a meeting on Sunday, January 18th at 4:45 pm to learn more about this short term opportunity!

We had a great first quiz meet of the year in Bedford Indiana! We quizzed over Acts 1-4. Next month we travel to Alton, Illinois and quiz over the next couple chapters in Acts. Thank you so much for praying for our team! We have 35 quizzers this year, so that’s a lot of Scripture that’s being memorized and hid in these teens hearts!

We have finally arrived home after an overnight flight and drive back to WFMC. Nationals 2025 is officially in the books...

We have finally arrived home after an overnight flight and drive back to WFMC. Nationals 2025 is officially in the books and we came home with many memories, trophies, and most of all, Scripture written on our hearts! Our STV team: Jean, Grace, and Caspian was declared our national champions and received the Alpha Omega trophy! Another of our STV teams: James, Violet, and Nick received 3rd place in the nation! In our YTV division, we had our team: Elisa, Ben, and Charlee receive 1st and brought home the Benson Box trophy! Our rookie team: Ephraim, Ellie, and Sofia brought home 3rd place! And our other rookie team: Noah, Daisy, and Miguel received 2nd place! In individuals for STV division: Violet got 6th, Grace got 4th, Jean got 2nd, and James was declared the champion and 1st in the nation! In the YTV division, Elisa got 6th, and Ben got 5th place! In our rookie division, Miguel got 3rd and Noah got 2nd place! We also had Miguel, Caspian, and Elisa place in our accuracy rounds (Kahoot).
We are so proud of how well these quizzers have done this week, and the ways we have witnessed their faith grow! We want to take the time again to express our gratitude to everyone who has prayed for our team this week and this year. This ministry wouldn’t be possible without the support and prayers of our church family.

We had a great day of tournament quizzing today! We still have several quizzers in Indy finals tomorrow and 3 teams still quizzing for 1st place in each division. Our STV team: Caspian, Jean, and Grace are in the final round for the Alpha Omega. Pray for all these quizzers as they are going to be higher stress quizzes than today.

We had another great day of round robin quizzing! We also celebrated our seniors in chapel today and a time of fellowship with them at dinner. Tonight the coaches had QUIC team quizzing. Tomorrow starts the double elimination tournament. This means if they lose 2 rounds they are done quizzing. Some of our quizzers are in the play in round for individuals tomorrow. Please pray for our quizzers as emotions are high and there is a lot of stress in the tournament. They have all done really well this week, and no matter how they do and what place they end up with, we are all so proud of them!
