We love Wilmington. Not as a slogan. As a calling.

This city is home. And while we're in the middle of construction, we wanted our walls to say what we believe: we're a downtown church, for downtown, and for the people who call it home.

We will never apologize for being a church that's obsessed with people far from God. We believe that we are called to tell everyone about the good news of Jesus and how he's changed our lives.

At some point, no matter how many books you read, classes you take, or sermons you listen to, you have to get to a place where you simply say: I don't know.

Not because mystery is a cop out. But because God's ways are higher than ours. And the one thing that is clear? I am woefully unworthy of any of the mercy of God.

How in the world could a God like him save a man like me?

You look back at your life and think there's no way God could love you after all that.

But you're not looking back far enough.

Two years isn't far enough. Two decades isn't far enough. The evidence you need goes back 2,000 years. To a God who decided he was for you before you had the chance to mess anything up.
