It’s coming soon
On Sept. 13th, we will be putting together 55 lunch bags and delivering them to AHEPA Senior Apartments, an affordable, independent senior housing community at 109 North Kerr Avenue, Wilmington, NC 28405. Our Parish Life Committee will be making 55 sandwiches in the kitchen, and we need help filling 55 bags with other food items. Alice Long has graciously made cards for each resident, so we need volunteers to write thoughtful messages in each card. We are also organizing food donations for Mother's Hubbard Cupboard and delivering them to their facility at 315 Red Cross St. We are collecting kid’s cereal, instant oatmeal and small boxes of raisins.
Volunteer Opportunities on September 13th
1. Filling Lunch Bags With Food Items (Assembly Line)
2. Writing Messages In Cards
3. Organizing the Food for Mother's Hubbard Cupboard
4. Going to AHEPA after the bags are completed and delivering them door-to-door.
5. Help transport food to Mother Hubbard's Cupboard.
