The Five-Fold Purposes of the Blood of Christ
Text: Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 1:14, Romans 3:24-25
📖 INTRODUCTION
The blood of Jesus Christ is not merely a symbol of suffering—it is the foundation of our salvation. In the Dispensation of Grace, God is not saving men through ceremonies, sacrifices, or religious works, but through faith in the finished work of Christ and His shed blood.
According to Dispensationalism, the Gospel that saves today is revealed through the Apostle Paul:
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV) – Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again.
The blood of Christ accomplished everything necessary for our redemption. Let us examine the B-L-O-O-D purposes of His precious blood.
1️⃣ B — BOUGHT BY THE BLOOD
Redemption Through His Blood

We were slaves to sin, but Christ paid the full purchase price.
A. Bought from Sin's Penalty

C. Bought for God's Possession

B. Opened Fellowship with God

5️⃣ D — DELIVERED BY THE BLOOD
Forgiveness Through His Blood

The blood of Christ secured complete forgiveness.
A. Delivered from Sin's Record

Debt canceled.
Charges removed.
Victory secured.
B. Delivered from God's Wrath

C. Delivered Forever

The believer in Christ possesses eternal security because salvation depends upon Christ's blood, not human effort.
🎯 CONCLUSION
The blood of Jesus Christ is God's answer to man's greatest problem—sin.
Through His blood we have been:

✅ Delivered from judgment
The cross was not a partial payment—it was a perfect payment.
