Southside Baptist Church

Southside Baptist Church Our Mission is to Make and Mature Disciples of Jesus Christ. Join us on Sunday Mornings at 10:15am for worship.

Join us Sunday morning as we Study God’s Word, Pray Diligently, Serve with the Love of Christ, and strive to Share the Gospel to our community and our world! Our worship is a blend of the contemporary with the traditional, led by a live praise band. During the summer we have Wednesday classes are for Adults in the Fellowship Hall at 7pm and for Youth in the tan building behind the church at 6:45pm. On Sundays we have age appropriate classes with Childcare provided.

Pastor Kelly has been the pastor at Southside since August of 1999! He is married to his lovely bride Audrey who is a native Wilmingtonian. They brought their adopted daughter Emmie home from Bulgaria when she was 13 on March 26, 2015. PK loves aviation, the outdoors, reading, hiking, jet skiing, the beach, teaching/preaching, anything made by Apple, and trying to enjoy the most out of life! PK also likes to surf and wants to learn to scuba dive. He has earned a B.S. from Campbell University, a Masters in Religious Education from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary and a Masters of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Thank you to everyone who came to our Back to School Bash today. Despite the weather, we were able to serve 134 people in our community and pass out over 70 bags of school supplies to families in need! Thank you to everyone who donated items and to the few volunteers who came to help. Every family that came today was prayed over for the new school year and it was a wonderful time of fellowship and outreach!
