Keep Your Eyes And Ears Open
To The Leading Of The Lord

Psalm 34:11-22 (GW)
11 Come, children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12 Which of you wants a full life? Who would like to live long enough to enjoy good things?
13 Keep your tongue from saying evil things and your lips from speaking deceitful things.
14 Turn away from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it!
15 The LORD'S eyes are on righteous people. His ears hear their cry for help.
16 The LORD confronts those who do evil in order to wipe out all memory of them from the earth.
17 {Righteous people} cry out. The LORD hears and rescues them from all their troubles.
18 The LORD is near to those whose hearts are humble. He saves those whose spirits are crushed.
19 The righteous person has many troubles, but the LORD rescues him from all of them.
20 The LORD guards all of his bones. Not one of them is broken.

Even Stormy Winds Fulfil God’s Direction

Acts 28:5-10 (GW)
5 Paul shook the snake into the fire and wasn't harmed.
6 The people were waiting for him to swell up or suddenly drop dead. But after they had waited a long time and saw nothing unusual happen to him, they changed their minds and said he was a god.
7 A man named Publius, who was the governor of the island, had property around the area. He welcomed us and treated us kindly, and for three days we were his guests.
8 His father happened to be sick in bed. He was suffering from fever and dysentery. Paul went to him, prayed, placed his hands on him, and made him well.
9 After that had happened, other sick people on the island went to Paul and were made well.
10 They showed respect for us in many ways, and when we were going to set sail, they put whatever we needed on board.

Whosoever Believeth On Me Should Not Abide In Darkness.
Whoever Cleaves To.
And Trusts In.
And Relies On Me.

John 12:44-50 (GW)
44 Then Jesus said loudly, “Whoever believes in me believes not only in me but also in the one who sent me.
45 Whoever sees me sees the one who sent me.
46 I am the light that has come into the world so that everyone who believes in me will not live in the dark.
47 If anyone hears my words and doesn't follow them, I don't condemn them. I didn't come to condemn the world but to save the world.
48 Those who reject me by not accepting what I say have a judge appointed for them. The words that I have spoken will judge them on the last day.
49 I have not spoken on my own. Instead, the Father who sent me told me what I should say and how I should say it.
50 I know that what he commands is eternal life. Whatever I say is what the Father told me to say.”

Live Deeply In Christ

1 JOHN 2:24-29
22 So who is the liar? It is the one who says Jesus is not the Messiah. Whoever says that is the enemy of Christ—the one who does not believe in the Father or in his Son.
23 Whoever does not believe in the Son does not have the Father, but whoever accepts the Son has the Father Too.
24 Be sure that you continue to follow the teaching you heard from the beginning. If you do that, you will always be in the Son and in the Father.
25 And this is what the Son Promised us—eternal life.
26 I am writing this letter about those who are trying to lead you Into the wrong way.
27 Christ gave you a special gift. You still have this gift in you. So You don’t need anyone to teach you. The gift he gave you teaches you about everything. It is a true gift, not a false one. So Continue to live in Christ, as his gift taught you.
28 Yes, my dear children, live in him. If we do this, we can be without fear on the day when Christ comes again. We will not need to hide and be ashamed when he comes.
29 You know that Christ always did what was right. So You know that all those who do what is right are God’s children.

1.Live Deeply in Christ is a well-known biblical thought.
2.Often make popular by 1 John 2:6...Those who say that they live in him must live the same way he lived.
3.It centers on abiding in Jesus.
4.And building an unshakable foundation of faith.
5.Through continuous spiritual growth.
6.Colossians 2:6-7...So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him.

To Obey Him Is To Abide In Him

1 JOHN 3:22-24
22 We're able to stretch our hands out and receive what we asked for because we're doing what he said, doing what pleases him.
23 Again, this is God's command: to believe in his personally named Son, Jesus Christ. He told us to love each other, in line with the original command.
24 As we keep his commands, we live deeply and surely in him, and he lives in us. And this is how we experience his deep and abiding presence in us: by the Spirit he gave us.

1.The inseparable connection between keeping God's commandments.
2.And maintaining an active, intimate relationship with Christ.
3.1 John 3:24...States that the one who keeps God's commandments dwells (abides) in God.
4.And God dwells in them.
5.This mutual indwelling is confirmed by the Holy Spirit.
6.John 15:10...Jesus explicitly draws this link when He says.
7.If you keep my commandments.
8.You will abide in my love.
9.Just as I have kept my Father's Commandments and abide in his love.
10.Psalm 27:4-5...One thing have I asked of the Lord.
11.That will I seek after.
12.That I may dwell in the house of the Lord.
13.All the days of my life.
14.To gaze upon the beauty of the Lord.
15.And to inquire in his temple.
16.For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble.
17.He will conceal me under the cover of his tent.
18.He will lift me high upon a rock.

I Will Talk To The Father
May 27,2026

JOHN 14:12-17
12 “I can assure you that whoever believes in me will do the same things I have done. And they will do even greater things than I have done, because I am going to the Father.
13 And if you ask for anything in my name, I will do it for you. Then the Father’s glory will be shown through the Son.
14 If you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it.
15 “If you love me, you will do what I command.
16 I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper[a] to be with you forever.
17 The Helper is the Spirit of truth.[b] The people of the world cannot accept him, because they don’t see him or know him. But you know him. He lives with you, and he will be in you.

11.The Bible provides a clear pattern for how believers should approach God in prayer:
12.Jesus taught His followers to "go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen" (Matthew 6:6) to focus entirely on God.
13.Matthew 6:6...Here's what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you won't be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense his grace.

Wickedness Hates Righteousness
May 26,2026

1 JOHN 3:11-15
11 This is the teaching you have heard from the beginning: We must love each other.
12 Don’t be like Cain. He belonged to the Evil One. Cain killed his brother. But why did he kill him? Because what Cain did was evil, and what his brother did was good.
13 Brothers and sisters, don’t be surprised when the people of this world hate you.
14 We know that we have left death and have come into life. We know this because we love each other as brothers and sisters. Anyone who does not love is still in death.
15 Anyone who hates a fellow believer is a murderer.[b] And you know that no murderer has eternal life.

The LORD Is Close To The Brokenhearted

Psalm 34:14-18
14 Stop doing anything evil, and do good.
Look for peace, and do all you can to help people live peacefully.
15 The Lord watches over those who do what is right,
and he hears their prayers.

so they are forgotten soon after they die.

Happy Pentecost Sunday
The Pouring Out of The Holy Spirit.
Behold...How Good and How Pleasant It Is.
For Brethren To Dwell Together In Unity.

Acts 2:1-5 (NLT)
1 On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place.
2 Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting.
3 Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them.
4 And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.
5 At that time there were devout Jews from every nation living in Jerusalem.

1.We cannot forget how often.
2.While their Master was with them.
3.There were strifes among the disciples.
4.Which should be the greatest.

Those Who Reject Jesus Christ
Those Who Are Not Looking for Jesus Christ.

2 John 1:7-11 (GW)
7 Many people who deceive others have gone into the world. They refuse to declare that Jesus Christ came in flesh and blood. This is the mark of a deceiver and an antichrist.
8 Be careful that you don't destroy what we've worked for, but that you receive your full reward.
9 Everyone who doesn't continue to teach what Christ taught doesn't have God. The person who continues to teach what Christ taught has both the Father and the Son.
10 If anyone comes to you and doesn't bring these teachings, don't take him into your home or even greet him.
11 Whoever greets him shares the evil things he's doing.

1.Those who Deny Christ.
2.Are defined as anyone who rejects Jesus.
3.As the divine Messiah or disowns Him before others.
4.The Bible equates the denial of Jesus.
5.With the spirit of the antichrist.
6.And cautions that those who reject Him face eternal separation from God.
7.John 12:48...I came to save the world. But you need to know that whoever puts me off, refusing to take in what I'm saying, is willfully choosing rejection. The Word, the Word-made-flesh that I have spoken and that I am, that Word and no other is the last word.
8.Matthew 10:33...But if you stand before others and say you do not believe in me, then I will tell my Father in heaven that you do not belong to me.
9.Luke 10: 16...The one who listens to you, listens to me. The one who rejects you, rejects me. And rejecting me is the same as rejecting God, who sent me."
