Why you're not harvesting anything good

YOUR SIN WON'T STAY WHERE YOU LEFT IT

David's sin with Bathsheba didn't end in that bedroom. It followed him home and produced a harvest he never saw coming.

What David did in secret, his son Absalom repeated in public. Sin spread through the next generation.

David's moral failures weakened the moral barriers of his home. His children normalized what the parents tolerated.

God forgave David, but the consequences kept coming. His infant son died. David fasted, wept, and refused to be comforted, because he knew his sin put that child in the ground.

Forgiveness doesn't erase the harvest. God washed away David's sin, but the results still played out in his life.

Unresolved bitterness will grow. It'll cause you to do things you never dreamed you would do. And the seed was planted years before.

We don't just harvest what we sow. We harvest more than we sow. Bring it to God before the harvest arrives.
