On Trinity Sunday, the Grace Presbyterian Kakopħone Praise Band shared a beautiful arrangement of one of the church's most beloved hymns. With rich harmonies and heartfelt musicianship, this timeless song invites us into worship of the Triune God: Creator, Christ, and Holy Spirit.

As we celebrate the mystery and wonder of the Trinity, may this music remind us of the God who is eternally love, eternally relationship, and eternally present with us.

We invite you to listen, reflect, and join in the song of praise that has echoed through generations of faithful disciples.

Matthew 13:44-52
Revised Standard Version

Three Parables
44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up; then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, 46 who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

47 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net which was thrown into the sea and gathered fish of every kind; 48 when it was full, men drew it ashore and sat down and sorted the good into vessels but threw away the bad. 49 So it will be at the close of the age. The angels will come out and separate the evil from the righteous, 50 and throw them into the furnace of fire; there men will weep and gnash their teeth.

Treasures New and Old
51 “Have you understood all this?” They said to him, “Yes.” 52 And he said to them, “Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.”

What if faith is about more than believing?

In this clip from the Trinity Sunday sermon Divine Dancing, Pastor Kevin reflects on one of the central truths of the Christian faith: God invites us into a life of relationship, connection, and love.

The gospel is not simply about learning ideas about God. It is an invitation to participate in the life of God. Creation, the church, and discipleship all flow from that invitation.

Faith is not just something we believe. It is a way of living, loving, and belonging.

What if the Trinity is not a puzzle to solve, but an invitation to a way of life?

In this Trinity Sunday sermon, Divine Dancing, Pastor Kevin reflects on the God who exists in relationship: Creator, Christ, and Holy Spirit. Through the image of a dance, we discover that God's life is one of connection, mutuality, and love, and that we are invited to participate in that divine life.

From the breath we share with creation to the communities we build with one another, the sermon explores how our lives are woven together in ways that reflect the very nature of God.

John 1:29-34
Revised Standard Version

The Lamb of God
29 The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! 30 This is he of whom I said, ‘After me comes a man who ranks before me, for he was before me.’ 31 I myself did not know him; but for this I came baptizing with water, that he might be revealed to Israel.” 32 And John bore witness, “I saw the Spirit descend as a dove from heaven, and it remained on him. 33 I myself did not know him; but he who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain, this is he who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’ 34 And I have seen and have borne witness that this is the Son of God.”

Today we celebrate our amazing Good Neighbor Team!

This morning, a dedicated group of volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help a neighbor in need by clearing brush along fence lines, removing small trees and previously cut branches, and taking out two overgrown bushes from the front yard.

Their hard work made a visible difference, but even more importantly, it was a reminder of what it means to love our neighbors in practical and meaningful ways.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time, energy, and muscle to serve. Your dedication is a faithful witness to Christ's love in action and a blessing to our community.

Together, we continue to be the hands and feet of Christ, sharing hope one act of kindness at a time. 💙

Matthew 13:36-43
Revised Standard Version

Jesus Explains the Parable of the Weeds
36 Then he left the crowds and went into the house. And his disciples came to him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field.” 37 He answered, “He who sows the good seed is the Son of man; 38 the field is the world, and the good seed means the sons of the kingdom; the weeds are the sons of the evil one, 39 and the enemy who sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the close of the age, and the reapers are angels. 40 Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the close of the age. 41 The Son of man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all evildoers, 42 and throw them into the furnace of fire; there men will weep and gnash their teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

This Sunday we begin a new summer worship series at Grace Presbyterian Church: On the Way: Trusting God in the Midst of Change, Promise, and Becoming.

Throughout the summer we’ll journey through stories from Genesis and the Gospel of Matthew, exploring how God continues to work through imperfect people in unfinished situations. Along the way we’ll reflect on themes of calling, compassion, mercy, courage, hospitality, and grace.

We begin this Sunday on Trinity Sunday with the message “Divine Dance.” Together we will celebrate our relational God, Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer, and reflect on the ways God continues to invite us into the movement of love, community, and new creation.

No matter where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome at Grace.

Matthew 13:31-35
Revised Standard Version

The Parable of the Mustard Seed
31 Another parable he put before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took and sowed in his field; 32 it is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”

The Parable of the Yeast
33 He told them another parable. “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven which a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, till it was all leavened.”

The Use of Parables
34 All this Jesus said to the crowds in parables; indeed he said nothing to them without a parable. 35 This was to fulfil what was spoken by the prophet:[a]

“I will open my mouth in parables,
I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.”

Life is a journey. Sometimes the road is clear. Sometimes it takes unexpected turns. Sometimes we find ourselves searching for hope, purpose, belonging, or a new direction.

This summer at Grace Presbyterian Church, we're inviting our community to join us for On the Way: Trusting God in the Midst of Change, Promise, and Becoming.

Some journeys begin with a map. Others begin with a single step.

This summer at Grace Presbyterian Church, we're setting out on a new journey together through our worship series, On the Way: Trusting God in the Midst of Change, Promise, and Becoming.

Along the way we'll encounter stories of calling, courage, compassion, mercy, and grace from Genesis and the Gospel of Matthew. We'll meet people who didn't have all the answers, took a few wrong turns, faced unexpected challenges, and discovered that God was with them every step of the way.

Watch this short invitation from Pastor Kevin and learn more about the series. And while you're watching, don't stop believing that God is still at work through imperfect people in unfinished situations.

Wherever you are on life's journey, you are welcome at Grace.

If this message speaks to you, please like, comment, and share to help us invite others to join the journey.
