We thank God for another school and catechetical year at the Juliusz Słowacki Polish Parish School at St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Wheeling, IL.

As many as 537 students began their well-deserved summer vacation, giving thanks to God during Holy Mass for the gift of education, formation, and community.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the graduates of both elementary and high school.

We are proud of your achievements and pray that the knowledge and values you have gained will guide you throughout your lives.

To all students, parents, teachers, and staff of our school community, we wish you a safe, joyful, and blessed summer vacation.

See you in the new school year!

Dziękujemy Panu Bogu za kolejny rok szkolno-katechetyczny w naszej Parafialnej Szkole Polskiej im. Juliusza Słowackiego przy parafii Parafia Świętego Józefa Robotnika w Wheeling.

Aż 537 uczniów rozpoczęło zasłużone wakacje, dziękując podczas Mszy Świętej za dar edukacji, wychowania i wspólnoty.

Serdeczne gratulacje kierujemy do absolwentów szkoły podstawowej oraz szkoły średniej.

Jesteśmy dumni z Waszych osiągnięć i życzymy, aby zdobyta wiedza oraz wartości prowadziły Was przez całe życie.

Wszystkim uczniom, rodzicom, nauczycielom i pracownikom naszej szkolnej społeczności życzymy bezpiecznych, radosnych i błogosławionych wakacji.

Damos gracias a Dios por otro año escolar y catequético en nuestra Escuela Polaca Parroquial Juliusz Słowacki en la parroquia San José Obrero en Wheeling.

Un total de 537 estudiantes comenzaron sus merecidas vacaciones, dando gracias a Dios durante la Santa Misa por el don de la educación, la formación y la comunidad.

Felicitamos cordialmente a los graduados de la escuela primaria y secundaria.

Estamos orgullosos de sus logros y les deseamos que el conocimiento y los valores adquiridos los acompañen durante toda la vida.

Deseamos a todos los estudiantes, padres, maestros y trabajadores de nuestra comunidad escolar unas vacaciones seguras, alegres y llenas de bendiciones.

On Wednesday, we celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima. May our Blessed Mother watch over our parish community and intercede for all of us.

W środę obchodziliśmy wspomnienie Matki Bożej Fatimskiej. Niech nasza Najświętsza Matka czuwa nad całą wspólnotą parafialną i wyprasza potrzebne łaski dla nas wszystkich.

El miércoles celebramos la fiesta de Nuestra Señora de Fátima. Que nuestra Santísima Madre cuide de toda nuestra comunidad parroquial e interceda por todos nosotros.

Last Sunday, seven new altar servers took their oaths and received their albs, crucifixes, and belts. We thank them for their willingness to serve at the altar and pray that their ministry may bring them closer to Christ each day.

W ubiegłą niedzielę siedmiu nowych ministrantów złożyło swoje przyrzeczenia oraz otrzymało alby, krzyże i paski ministranckie. Dziękujemy im za gotowość do służby przy ołtarzu i modlimy się, aby ta posługa każdego dnia przybliżała ich do Chrystusa.

El pasado domingo, siete nuevos monaguillos hicieron sus promesas y recibieron sus albas, crucifijos y cinturones. Les agradecemos su disposición para servir en el altar y oramos para que este ministerio los acerque cada día más a Cristo.

Memories from our Parish Feast of Saint Joseph the Worker on May 1, 2026, together with the beautiful Crowning of Mary. May Saint Joseph the Worker continue to intercede for our parish families and protect us always, and may our Blessed Mother lead us ever closer to her Son.

Wspomnienia z odpustu parafialnego ku czci św. Józefa Robotnika z dnia 1 maja 2026 roku połączonego z uroczystym ukoronowaniem Matki Bożej. Niech św. Józef Robotnik nadal wstawia się za naszymi rodzinami parafialnymi i nieustannie nas chroni, a Najświętsza Maryja Panna prowadzi nas zawsze bliżej swojego Syna.

Recuerdos de nuestra Fiesta Parroquial de San José Obrero del 1 de mayo de 2026, junto con la hermosa Coronación de la Virgen María. On Saturday, May 23rd at 10:00 AM, here in our church of St. Joseph the Worker in Wheeling, we will celebrate the Ordination to the Priesthood in the Society of the Divine Word. Please keep Deacons Mark, Bryan, Baruch, Ryan, Arnold, Thong, and Pedro in your prayers as they prepare for this special day. These seven Deacons will be ordained missionary priests through the imposition of hands and the invocation of the Holy Spirit by the Most Reverend John Douglas Deshotel, Bishop of the Diocese of Lafayette in Louisiana.

W sobotę, 23 maja o godz. 10:00 rano, tutaj w naszym kościele św. Józefa Robotnika w Wheeling, będziemy przeżywać uroczystość Święceń Kapłańskich w Zgromadzeniu Słowa Bożego. Prosimy o modlitwę za diakonów: Marka, Bryana, Barucha, Ryana, Arnolda, Thonga i Pedra, którzy przygotowują się do tego wyjątkowego dnia. Tych siedmiu diakonów zostanie wyświęconych na kapłanów misjonarzy przez nałożenie rąk i modlitwę konsekracyjną do Ducha Świętego, której przewodniczyć będzie Jego Ekscelencja Ksiądz Biskup John Douglas Deshotel z diecezji Lafayette w Luizjanie.

El sábado 23 de mayo a las 10:00 de la mañana, aquí en nuestra iglesia de San José Obrero en Wheeling, celebraremos la ordenación sacerdotal en la Sociedad del Verbo Divino. Por favor, mantengan en sus oraciones a los diáconos Mark, Bryan, Baruch, Ryan, Arnold, Thong y Pedro mientras se preparan para este día tan especial. Estos siete diáconos serán ordenados sacerdotes misioneros mediante la imposición de manos y la invocación del Espíritu Santo por Su Excelencia Reverendísima John Douglas Deshotel, Obispo de la Diócesis de Lafayette en Luisiana.
