OYM is glad to share Peace of Mind, a one-day Mental Health First Aid training presented by the Assembly of Bishops for clergy and laity working with youth. Learn to recognize signs of mental health challenges, respond to someone in crisis, and better support those entrusted to our care.

OVC is a year-long immersive program for young adults ages 21-29 to serve with our most vulnerable neighbors. Corps Members live in community with other young adults, explore topics of the faith and leadership, and root themselves in the Church. Housing, transportation, and food are 100% covered. Applications are now open for the 2027-28 full-time program, taking place in three cities–Pittsburgh, Boston, and Phoenix.

We’re excited to share a wonderful upcoming event hosted by Orthodoxy Today! On Saturday, November 7th, head over to St. George Cathedral in Chicago for “Pillars of Our Faith: The Jesus Prayer & Holy Fathers.” Special guest speakers Hegumen Gabriel and Priestmonk Father Macarius from Holy Cross Monastery will be exploring the practice of the Jesus Prayer and how to live out the wisdom of the Holy Fathers.
