Tomorrow, we’re continuing our Follow Me: Growing as Disciples of Jesus series by looking at something we were never meant to do alone — follow Jesus❤️

Community isn’t just about sitting in the same room on Sunday. It’s about finding people who will walk with you, encourage you, pray with you, laugh with you, carry you when life gets heavy, and remind you that you belong. 🍪❤️ Sometimes, the sweetest blessings are the ones that go unnoticed.

Week after week, without being asked and without looking for recognition, Dale Ladd brings in cookies to bless our kids, our families, and anyone who happens to enjoy one.

It may seem like a small thing. Just a few containers of cookies.

But that’s the point.

It’s a simple act of love from someone who simply wants to make someone else’s Sunday a little sweeter. And while it may often go unnoticed, we notice. ❤️

Because Dale is part of what makes Wharton First so special.

This church is filled with people who quietly pour out their time, their love, their energy, their prayers, their talents, and their hearts to make Sunday feel like more than just a place we come to worship.

They help make it feel like home.
Like a place where you are known.
A place where you are loved.
A place where you belong.

So today, we want to recognize one of those quiet blessings.

NINE people said yes to Jesus and were baptized. What a special day together. We are so thankful for these individuals lives, their walks, their courage to follow the Lord, and the special church that we all call home, Wharton First. God is on the move!! And we are excited about it!!

We are absolutely amazed by what God is doing!
We had baptisms last month and then again this month with NINE people being baptized this time! That is almost unheard of for a small country church! But We are so thankful for how God is moving and we are so thankful that people are allowing him to move in their lives! Baptism is an outward expression of our faith to God in front of your church community and it was absolutely beautiful to witness. We pray for each and every person's walk in faith, that they will always come back to Jesus no matter how hard life gets no matter what comes across their path, no matter what mistakes they make, they will always return to Him and they will be strengthened! God is truly doing amazing things at Wharton First and we want you to be a part of it. Enjoy these photos of an amazing day!
