Sunday, June 7 is the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi).
Following the 11:00am Mass, we will have a procession to the Shrine Park with the Blessed Sacrament. After arriving at the Shrine Park altar, we will have short period of adoration, followed by benediction.

All are invited to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy following the period of adoration!

In addition to all the other festivities this weekend, we joyfully celebrated two parishioners who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Sunday, May 24 (Pentecost Sunday), becoming fully initiated members of the Catholic Church at Most Holy Rosary Cathedral in Toledo.

Bishop Daniel E. Thomas conferred the sacrament and is pictured here with our newly confirmed parishioners. Congratulations, and may the Holy Spirit continue to guide and strengthen them in their journey of faith!

Mass is at 9:00am followed by Full Shrine Devotions.

The Conventual Franciscan Friars and Parishioners of Our Lady of Consolation invite you to come celebrate the Solemnity of our Patroness on Monday, May 25 at 9:00am in the Upper Basilica.
Since the arrival of the miraculous statue of Our Lady in Carey in 1875, countless pilgrims have come seeking Our Lady's intercession.

This day in the secular calendar is Memorial Day where we remember those who died preserving our freedom. We invite you to come and pray for them and all your intentions here in this holy place. Bring your intentions and lay them at Our Lady's feet.

Immediately following Mass, we will celebrate Full Shrine Devotions which includes a Rosary Procession and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

Happy Pentecost!

We had beautiful celebrations all weekend, including celebrating the Extended Vigil for the first time on Saturday evening.

Many thanks to all who made our celebrations so beautiful, especially our Children's Choir and Shrine Chorale.

Tomorrow we celebrate the Extended Pentecost Vigil at the 5:00pm Mass. Come and pray for the sending of the Spirit!

Mass will be about 90 minutes.

Extended Pentecost Vigil

All are invited to attend Our Lady of Consolation's celebration of the Extended Pentecost Vigil on the evening of Saturday, May 23 at 5:00pm. The Extended Pentecost Vigil is a liturgy that was restored in the most recent revision of the Roman Missal, and in many ways it mirrors the "mother of all vigils" - the Easter Vigil. With multiple Old Testament readings that highlight the workings of the Holy Spirit throughout Salvation History, the vigil helps prepare us for the coming of the Spirit in our time and sends us forth to help "renew of the face of the earth" (Psalm 104).
