Does your God have a name? My God does. His name is Jesus. The most powerful and most transcendent name ever given to anyone was a name chosen by God and given to the Son of God. My God has many names and titles. It would take us a long time to list them all. Thankfully, we can focus on just this one name, Jesus.

Jesus is the most significant name to ever cross the lips of God, or angels, or men. There are so many things about name of Jesus that we could proclaim. His name is the ultimate name. It is a strong tower where we can find shelter. It is the most beautiful name. Jesus is the most glorious name. Jesus is the most blessed name. Do you love the name of Jesus?

On Pentecost Sunday, I am going to challenge you to believe God to do the impossible for you. Are you facing something that seems impossible? It is possible with God! Jesus said in Mark 10:27, “Everything is possible with God.”

There are times when we all encounter the impossible. Something is beyond our ability. It may even be beyond the ability of others. Merriam-Webster defines impossible as; “incapable of being, or of occurring.” Every person on earth knows that there are some things that are simply impossible. There are also things that seem to be impossible for some people that, somehow, are possible for others.

What is the difference? How are some people able to do these things that seem to be impossible for others?

The purpose of the Book of Revelation is not merely to foretell the end of the world. It is to reveal Jesus Christ to His Church. You cannot fully know my God without knowing Jesus Christ as He is described in Revelation.

Those who avoid Revelation are missing out on God’s blessings, because throughout this amazing Book you will find many encouraging messages for believers. What we refer to as Revelation is actually known as “The Revelation of Jesus Christ.” It is an unveiling of who Jesus is right now. Jesus gave the Book of Revelation to bless His people. What is unwelcome news for the world is welcome news for believers.

We are clearly informed in Revelation 1:3; “God blesses the one who reads the words of this prophecy to the church, and he blesses all who listen to its message and obey what it says, for the time is near.” This is telling us to read, hear, and diligently seek to understand the Book of Revelation, so we may walk in obedience to its message. Do you want God to bless you? Then read and obey the Book of Revelation!

Do you want to know more about Jesus as He is described in Revelation? Then join the congregation of Bethel, Sunday @ 10:30 AM at Bethel, 11117 US 231, Wetumpka, AL 36092. Or watch online @ https://www.facebook.com/BethelWetumpka/videos, or https://www.youtube.com/.

Sin introduced suffering into the human story. Thankfully, God had a plan to end our suffering. Genesis 3:15, the "Protoevangelium,"
is the “first promise of the Good News.” In it God promised that His Son, Jesus Christ, the world’s greatest Son, would one day crush our enemy forever and free us from the bo***ge of sin.

As He spoke judgment over Satan and over humanity, God also spoke a blessing that would come through Eve. God would send His answer to our sin through Eve. Genesis 3:15; “And I will cause hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.”

How marvelous that God would care so much for Eve, that even when she had sinfully disobeyed God, He desired to restore her. Just like a loving parent, God punished Adam and Eve for their wrongdoing and then lovingly comforted them. He did so with the promise to send a Son who would deliver us all from evil’s grip. Thank God for His great Son, Jesus Christ, who has come just as the Father promised!
