The Bridge is a free after-school program held Wednesday afternoons, open to the whole community. Kids can take part in art, games, and choir while growing in their love for Jesus through hands-on lessons.

Pick-up is available from Wetumpka and Redland schools!

The Bridge is Back! 🚌

Our Wednesday after-school program, The Bridge, starts back up next week on August 26th!

Before you come, make sure of two things:

~You have a 2026–2027 permission form on file with us.
~If you need a spot on the bus, let Ashley know.

Bus pickup locations:

~Wetumpka Elementary School
~Wetumpka Middle School
~Wetumpka High School
~Redland Schools

Thank to everyone who came out, volunteered, and donated making our Touch-a-truck a success. We were able to give back to multiple schools in our community. I love seeing how God is working through our church to make our community stronger.

Today from 11-2 pm!

You are invited to Touch a Truck at First Methodist Church Wetumpka! This is a great chance to explore your child’s favorite big trucks and vehicles including an ambulance, firetruck, police car, garbage truck, wrecker, vintage vehicles, motorcycles, and more! There will be lots of trucks and vehicles to touch and look at, food for the family, giveaways, and fun activities for kids like face painting and bounce houses! The cost to attend is just a school supply donation to benefit our local Elmore County schools.

When: August 8, 2026, from 11 am – 2 pm

Where: First Methodist Church Wetumpka 306 W. Tuskeena St. Wetumpka, AL 36092

Cost: To enter the event, bring any school supply donation. We are collecting supplies for Elmore County schools.
