Hey everyone Chris and I are planning on going out again soon. We are thinking Saturday January 10th. We do need some help getting things gathered. We generally like to take a medium sized bag filled with food they don’t have to cook along with other items listed in this post. We are in need of Bibles as well. If you can donate any of these items please let us know and we will figure out a way to get them from you. If you would like to go out with us, we generally try to divide and conquer. It’s startling for a large group of people to come up on them, so we try to keep it at 4 to a group. We would love to reach as many as we can. We do go to some rough areas in Montgomery so be prepared. If you aren’t used to going out in the trenches it can be a little scary (just saying). So if you would like to contribute but don’t want to necessarily go out, that’s completely fine. We need prayer warriors and a team. Please send me a message if you are interested in helping out. Also if you know of anyone anywhere in Elmore or Autauga county who need these services please let us know. We would love to reach those close to us it’s just been so hard to find them in recent years. Please keep us all in your prayers especially the homeless, lost and addicted.

Hey everyone! Here is a list of all the food items we are in need of to go out again and serve the homeless. We still need blankets and gloves, sleeping bags and tents if anyone has any to give. Thank you all for all your help!! We can’t save them all, but we call show them the love of Jesus and meet a need. Being the hands and feet of Jesus is what we are all called to be, if you can’t go out in the field, donating these items is a great way to contribute to the cause and a very important part of reaching the lost and broken.

Chris and I just wanted to thank all of you who donated to Serving Our Savior
We will be going out New Years Day! We couldn’t do this without all of your help and donations. We have such a wonderful church family and we’re so grateful for each and every one of you!

It’s been a crazy 2 weeks so I’m late getting this out but Saturday at 9:30 am we are meeting at Grace Point to go out and serve the homeless if anyone is interested in going.

We will “divide and conquer” and they aren’t in any central location so we do go in the trenches and find them and they’re not in good places so if that’s not your gift please don’t feel bad about not going if you can give in other ways that’s just as important as going out. We want everyone to stay safe.

We all have different gifts that make up the body and we could certainly use your donations as we are running low on funds and the supplies needed.

Thank you for all you have done to help make this possible to be the hands and feet and plant some seeds 🤍🙏🏻

Today my friend and I took a few people we could find some things from donations. We also bought more food and hand and feet warmers, sleeping bags, blankets. tarps, hygeine and toiletry items, gloves, socks, jackets, etc.

We were only able to find a few in tents and I can’t stop thinking about them and praying for them. It’s so sad how comfortably miserable they have become. I was once there. But God. All we can do is continue to love them and pray with and for them and continue to try to build relationships with them. One girl that we saw on Christmas, she was in a new place and seemed ALOT more broken than before, praying the seeds were planting are falling on good soil. The Holy Spirit is the only way to their hearts.

We will be getting more food and supplies soon to go back out for anyone who wants to go. I will post when we decide on a date. It won’t be this weekend or next but hopefully the weekend after.

Thank you to all who have prayed, donated, served.

We’re alll the body of Christ with many different parts and without each one of us we couldn’t do it.
Please continue to pray for the broken, lost, homeless, hopeless.
Don’t forget to thank God for everything we so easily take for granted.

”Now there are different gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different ministries, but the same Lord. And there are different activities, but the same God works all of them in each person. A manifestation of the Spirit is given to each person for the common good: to one is given a message of wisdom through the Spirit, to another, a message of knowledge by the same Spirit, to another, faith by the same Spirit, to another, gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another, the performing of miracles, to another, prophecy, to another, distinguishing between spirits, to another, different kinds of tongues, to another, interpretation of tongues. One and the same Spirit is active in all these, distributing to each person as he wills. For just as the body is one and has many parts, and all the parts of that body, though many, are one body — so also is Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body — whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free — and we were all given one Spirit to drink. Indeed, the body is not one part but many. If the foot should say, “Because I’m not a hand, I don’t belong to the body,” it is not for that reason any less a part of the body. And if the ear should say, “Because I’m not an eye, I don’t belong to the body,” it is not for that reason any less a part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? But as it is, God has arranged each one of the parts in the body just as he wanted. And if they were all the same part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body. The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” Or again, the head can’t say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” On the contrary, those parts of the body that are weaker are indispensable. And those parts of the body that we consider less honorable, we clothe these with greater honor, and our unrespectable parts are treated with greater respect, which our respectable parts do not need. Instead, God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the less honorable, so that there would be no division in the body, but that the members would have the same concern for each other. So if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and individual members of it. And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, next miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, leading, various kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all do miracles? Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? But desire the greater gifts. And I will show you an even better way.
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭4‬-‭31‬ ‭CSB‬‬

”“‘For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink; I was a stranger and you took me in; I was naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you took care of me; I was in prison and you visited me.’“

Toni (the man in the kids tent from Christmas) has a new adult tent. Please pray for this man. He was laying inside the kids tent today, same place he was on Christmas, alone and in a very hopeless place. Our hearts break for him.
