The world says: find the problem, assign blame, fix the behavior, then restore the relationship.

The gospel says: start with grace.

When we encounter God's grace, our relationship with Him deepens, and we grow together through life's challenges. Instead of asking, "Who's wrong?" we can ask, "Where is Christ in this situation?"

Because we have received mercy, we can extend mercy. Conflicts become opportunities to experience and share grace, not just prove who's right.

Of all the things Paul could pray for, health, success, comfort, or prosperity, he focuses on one request: "that you may know Him better."

This reveals what matters most in the Christian life. Not what we receive from God, but how deeply we know God Himself.

Knowing God is more than learning facts about Him. It is growing in a personal relationship with Him. As we know His love, faithfulness, and character more deeply, everything else comes into focus. Hope, inheritance, and power are not the destination. They are the result of fixing our eyes on Him.

The more you know God, the more you trust Him. The more you trust Him, the more you live from the abundance He has already provided.

Everything flows from knowing Him better.

Looking for a church this Sunday? We'd love to welcome you to Central College Presbyterian Church.

This week we continue our journey through Ephesians with the message "Knowing What Is Already Yours." In Ephesians 1:15-23, Paul prays that believers would have their eyes opened to see the hope, inheritance, and power that are already theirs in Christ.

Invite a friend, bring a neighbor, or come as you are. We look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday!

Today, let's discover how God responds to our failures. Many of us feel disqualified because of our mistakes, our past, or our struggles. We think we've failed too much for God to use us.

But the truth is that God doesn't just offer grace. He lavishes it on us. His grace is abundant, overflowing, and greater than every failure. He doesn't give us just enough to get by. He pours it out generously, covering our sins and transforming our lives.

God's grace does not make our sin smaller. It makes His love greater. Through Christ, we receive forgiveness, new life, and the opportunity to become the people God created us to be.
