What a week it's been already at Red Bird Mission! ❤️ Our team has jumped right into serving, worshiping and making memories together. From building steps and a wheelchair ramp at one worksite to roofing and flooring projects at another, our volunteers have been hard at work using their hands and hearts to serve others.

The group has loved spending time outdoors, taking in God's beautiful creation and enjoying the incredible wildlife around them. They even joined in the camp's famous "No Talent Talent Show," creating plenty of laughs and unforgettable moments.

In the evenings, the team has been gathering for games, fellowship, and worship, growing closer to one another and deepening their faith as they serve. It's been a joy to see God at work through every conversation, every project, and every shared experience.

Here are just a few photos and a little sneak peek of what they've been up to so far...there's much more to come! 📸

Thank you for continuing to pray for our team. Pray for strength as they finish their projects, for meaningful connections with those they serve, and for God to continue transforming lives, both theirs and the lives of those they meet. We can't wait to hear all the stories when they return home!

Fellowship, fun, and faithful service! Our Red Bird Mission Team is hard at work on their job site and making a meaningful impact along the way. As they serve, please continue to keep them in your prayers. Pray for their safety, for their faith to grow deeper through this experience, and for opportunities to share the love of Jesus with everyone they meet! We are so grateful for the hands and hearts representing Harlem Road Church this week!

From the tech booth to the pulpit! This morning, longtime Harlem Road Church member and volunteer Jason Steele will share a special Father's Day message: "Jesus: The Perfect Father." You won't want to miss this personal and inspiring testimony of God's faithfulness in Jason's life.

Join us as we worship together and celebrate the love, faithfulness, and encouragement we find in Christ. Worship begins at 9 & 11 AM at Harlem Road Church. We'll see you soon!

As our Red Bird Mission Team begins their journey tomorrow, we invite our church family to join us in prayer.

Heavenly Father, we lift up each member of our team as they travel and serve this week. Grant them safe journeys, good health, and protection every step of the way. Fill them with Your Spirit and use them as instruments of Your love, grace, and hope.

As they serve others, draw them closer to You and to one another. Strengthen their faith, deepen their compassion, and help them see Your hand at work in every conversation, project, and opportunity to serve.

We also pray for every individual and family they will encounter. May those they serve experience not only practical help, but the love of Jesus through the hands and hearts of Your people. Open doors for meaningful relationships, encouragement, and moments that point others to You.

Lord, go before them, work through them, and bring them home safely. We trust this week to Your care and look forward to hearing how You move in and through our team.

Amen.
