Are we living in the last days?
With so much uncertainty in our world, it’s a question many people are asking. But maybe the better question is: How are we living until Jesus returns?

We’re called to move from sinfulness to sanctification, confusion to clarity, and passivity to readiness.

Live with urgency. Stand firm in hope. Stay ready.
Time is short. Eternity is real. Our King is coming soon!

My name is Hannah McGuire.

For as long as I can remember, I have believed in God, but it wasn’t until a couple years ago that I truly began to understand what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus. I grew up attending church. I was even baptized at the age of 11. But at the time, I didn’t fully understand the significance of baptism.

When I reached high school, my parents gave me the choice of whether or not to continue attending church. The choice was now mine—and as the story goes, I stopped attending. Throughout high school, I battled with depression and anxiety. I struggled with my self-worth and tried to cope in all the wrong ways. As I began college, my panic attacks became more and more frequent, and I began to feel like my life was out of my control.

Eventually, I reached a breaking point. I felt so far from God. One day, I went to my mom in tears and asked her where to begin. Her answer was simple—just like she often says: “Just pray.” So I did. I prayed, “Jesus, I want to know You. Where do I start?”The very next morning, I arrived at my 5:30 a.m. barista shift and found the sidewalk covered in dozens of Bible verses written in chalk. In that moment, I realized that God had never left my side—He was simply waiting for me to open the door.

Soon after this point, I started attending Chapel on Sundays and eventually began serving in Chapel kids. My walk hasn’t been linear. There have been moments of doubt, times where I struggled to understand how someone so perfect and holy could love someone like myself when I barely loved myself. I had trouble breaking cycles of sin. But each time I fell, I ran back to him.

Eventually I grew tired of living with one foot in and one foot out and have now made the decision to fully surrender—to let go and let God.

Through that surrender, I have been set free. The lord has blessed me in unimaginable ways. I have been made new through Him.

Today, I celebrate that surrender. I celebrate the indescribable joy of the Lord. And I celebrate the death of my old life and the beginning of a new one as I walk with Jesus.

Living in the Last Days

In a world growing colder, we’re called to live differently — speak boldly, live purely, love deeply, and endure faithfully. Jesus is coming soon, and the Church shines brightest in the darkest moments. ⏳✨

Today we remember the brave men and women who gave everything.
We grieve with those who still feel their absence.
And we honor their sacrifice with deep gratitude.

Living in the Last Days — “4 Ways to Live for Jesus in the End Times”

In a world where people are growing colder, truth is being twisted, and faith is being tested, Paul’s message in 1 Thessalonians reminds us how to stay faithful as we wait for the return of Jesus. Time is short, eternity is real, and every moment matters.

Paul gives the church four powerful ways to live in the last days:

Speak Boldly — Even in fear, opposition, or pressure, we are called to share the Gospel with courage and trust the Holy Spirit to help us speak truth.
Live Purely — We don’t live for people’s approval or chase applause; we live to please God and stay faithful to His truth.
Love Deeply — As the world grows colder, believers are called to grow warmer by loving sacrificially, sharing not just the Gospel, but our lives.
Endure Faithfully — No matter the pressure, persecution, or cultural compromise around us, we stand firm in Jesus and keep wearing the armor of God.

The message closes with a reminder that while we don’t know the day or hour of Christ’s return, we do know this: Jesus is coming soon, and the Church shines brightest when the world grows darkest.
