HE’S NOT LEAVING YOU!

Have you ever felt like you don’t fit in? Maybe it’s because God never created you to simply blend in. When you discover who Jesus is, you begin to understand who He created you to be.

In “He’s Not Leaving You!” we explore John 1:29–32 and the powerful truth that God’s presence isn’t temporary. The Holy Spirit doesn’t just come upon us for a moment—He wants to remain with us, transform us, and work through us to impact the people around us.

✨ In this message, we’ll discover:
• Your identity is found in Jesus, not in people’s approval.
• The more clearly you see Jesus, the more secure you become in who God created you to be.
• The Holy Spirit brings peace, purity, and the assurance of God’s nearness.

Hi, my name is Grace.
I grew up in the church and always knew God, loved God, and had faith in God, but it wasn’t until this past year that I realized I’ve always had one foot out the door. I also realized that He was always waiting for me to fully walk through that door, and He never left.
I joined Chapel North about a month and a half ago when a neighbor recommended it to me! That completely random interaction was not a coincidence - it was God working. I felt a calling to leave North Carolina and come to Ohio, and in my heart I felt that God was going to bring me closer to Him here. After finding this church, it has been confirmed for me. Finding a church home was one more stepping stone in this journey with the Lord.
God has broken me free from the chains of drug addiction and completely changed my life. I’m four years sober and attending Ohio State University because God made me capable and made a way for me. I am so grateful because if you would’ve asked me six years ago where I’d be in life, it definitely wouldn’t be here. I didn’t even want to be alive, and now every morning I wake up, I thank God for giving me another day. Every breath is a blessing.
Currently, I feel like the Lord is setting me free more and more from worldly desires and showing me that suffering is necessary. That used to scare me, but I’ve now realized that the tradeoff is greater than the loss. Choosing Christ might cost me comfort, money, convenience, or worldly desires, but I will be rewarded with peace, purpose, joy - regardless of circumstance, and eternal life.
The most exciting part of my new life, walking with God, is getting to spread His love and be FREE knowing the Lord is always guiding me.
I am choosing to be baptized because I am ready to give my life fully to the Lord.
I want to be washed clean and try to walk in a path of righteousness and redemption.

In Week 3 of our evidence series, we are going to be diving into one crucial question - Is Jesus God? Jesus wasn’t just a good teacher, a wise man, or a prophet. He made claims that changed everything. Throughout the Bible, Jesus clearly identified Himself as God, fulfilled prophecies written hundreds of years before His birth, and backed up His claims with undeniable evidence.

Jesus didn’t just claim to know God—He claimed to BE God. He didn’t just appear in history—He fulfilled history. And He didn’t just make claims—He backed them up. Understanding who Jesus truly is should change more than what we believe—it should change how we live.

So, is there a difference between what you say you believe about Jesus and how you’re actually living? 👀

Today I decided to get baptized because, during the days I spent at camp, I felt God with me. I felt more at peace and was able to let go of everything I had been carrying inside, including my family and personal problems.
This experience at camp changed my life and led me to decide to be baptized with the conviction to continue growing in my faith and in my relationship with Him.

My name is Bree. I started coming to chapel the beginning of this year through an invite from the great coach dawsey. At times I feel like my family’s arrival here was a little late but we’re here now and that’s what matters.

I grew up going to church, grew up knowing God and with a praying mother yet somehow still drifted far away from the Lord. I remember crying while pregnant with Landyn at 18 thinking I wasn’t worthy of love,but God blessed me with someone who not only loves me but stepped up and raised Landyn as his own. I remember when Tony and I found out we were pregnant with Levi and that first appointment there wasn’t a heart beat. But God. He’s is turning 10 this year. From barely affording groceries, house fires and bad car accidents, and mental health issues. God has never left my side. So when people ask me why I’m always so positive and uplifting it’s because Im living proof of what God can do but I’m still a work in progress and learned that’s okay.

I thought you had to have it all together to get baptized and have your bible memorized and be a “model Christian”. I now know that is far from the truth. God is meeting me where I’m at every single day and it’s okay that I don’t have it all together and I still struggle with things because ultimately I know that my God has a plan for my life so I’m no longer drifting away but finally walking into the destiny He has for me.

THE EVIDENCE — The word

Can we really trust the Bible?

As we kicked off our brand-new series THE EVIDENCE, Josue takes us to Matthew 4, where Satan repeatedly challenges Jesus with the words, “If You are the Son of God…” But Jesus never gives in to the pressure to prove Himself. Instead, every time, He responds with three powerful words: “It is written.”

The enemy may bring an “IF,” but God has already spoken a “THIS IS.”

So what happens when the question becomes, “Can we trust the Bible?” The answer isn’t fear. It’s investigation. There is evidence.

In this message, we explored the manuscript evidence behind Scripture, including the incredible discovery of the Great Isaiah Scroll among the Dead Sea Scrolls—an ancient physical manuscript that dates back centuries before Jesus.

The Bible isn’t just one book. The word Bible comes from the Greek biblia, meaning “books.” It’s a collection of books that come together to tell one incredible story, and point us to Jesus.

You can ask questions. You can investigate. You can seek truth. And you can discover that your faith has a foundation.
