We are so grateful for all the people who have contributed to South Brevard Sharing Center. Each Sunday there would be a raft of food donations on the Chancel and by the Information, swollen by gifts brought in during the week!

The immediate crisis regarding SNAP funding seems to have ended, and so we are concluding our food drive this Sunday. Keep posted for more ways we can love our community.

According to the Florida Department of Health, in 2023, about 1 in 10 homes in Brevard Country received SNAP assistance to eat. Regardless of our political views and how we explain the reasons for this denial of funding, we can agree that Jesus called us to feed the hungry. We cannot stop the impasse in our nation's capital, but we can help get food on the tables of our neighbors. No child or senior citizen or anyone should go hungry in our community.

We'll be collecting non-perishable food donations at church during office hours and worship. Please bring metal pop-top cans, or microwaveable cups, and only food that is within date and in good shape. Help us love our neighbors in this increasingly difficult time!

The pumpkin patch is open and we've still got a good selection of pumpkins! The hayride will be up and running from 4 to 7pm tonight come out see us!

Unfortunately due to the heavy rain we are closing the pumpkin patch and hayride for the remainder of the evening. We will open the patch back up tomorrow from 9am to 7pm and the hayride will run from 4 to 7pm. See everyone tomorrow!
