Reminder: you are a priest (1 Peter 2:5, 9)

What does this look like? Having confidence in the blood of Jesus to regularly, continually come into the Lord’s presence together, to offer him spiritual sacrifices acceptable to him—worship, prayer, ministering to him, seeking him, humility, faith, obedience, surrender, fasting, devotion. This is what we do every Tuesday in our prayer room. No games, politics, hype, performance, hidden agendas. Just learning and practicing what it means to be a holy priesthood, a house of prayer, God’s dwelling place. Every Tuesday 7pm-8:30pm.

We'll continue this conversation on Sunday as Pastor Jason shares more specifics about the Lord's heart for Praise. Let's respond by continuing to gather for worship, communion and the word of God. Special service this Sunday 8.16.26

We've been teaching about hearing God's voice for the last seven weeks, and this Sunday we'll be sharing what the Lord is saying to Praise Cathedral. This will include previous words to Praise and a word that hasn't been shared publicly yet. This is not about the methods or the people who gave the words, this is all about the One who is speaking: Jesus-that he would be known, glorified and obeyed.

If you're part of our house at any level, we're asking that you make every effort to attend this special service. As usual, we will worship and receive communion during our time together. Thank you and we hope to see you there.

The Lord is holy—what right do we have to approach him? Yet the blood of Jesus cleanses us and invites us to come into his presence and worship him. This is the heart of the prayer room, that we would come before the Lord to minister to him. Spend time in an undistracted space and encounter this holy God. Prayer Room is open Tuesdays from 7pm-8:30pm.

Did you know that we receive the Lord’s supper (communion) every Sunday? There’s nothing we value more than Jesus and his sacrificial death on the cross as the atonement for our sins. It’s the only way to be forgiven, right with God and come into the presence of the Lord—everything we need is found in the finished work of Christ. So we remember, celebrate and honor Jesus by proclaiming and participating in his death until he comes. Join us in the sacred privilege of receiving the body and the blood of Jesus. Every Sunday during our worship service at 10am.
