Our Prayer Room and Bible Study are two ways for you to be consistently discipled.

The Prayer Room is designed to minister to and seek the Lord through prayer, worship and scripture—to cultivate becoming God’s dwelling place. This is discipleship because we become what (or in this case who) we behold: Jesus.

In our Bible Study, we are reading, discussing and praying through the book of Acts—we know nothing apart from what the Lord has revealed in scripture. This is discipleship because we are encouraged, challenged and transformed by the power of God’s word.

Please note that there will be NO Prayer Room or Bible Study next week, June 16-17.

We resume our regular schedule the following week. Consider joining us when we return, as we grow together in the presence of God, for Jesus is building his house. Also note that we will still be gathering for worship and communion every Sunday at 10am.

In this message from Matthew 18, Jason Saglimbeni shows us the need to forgive others. If we don’t forgive others, the Lord won’t forgive us. We need to forgive and we need to forgive as the Lord forgave us. What does that look like? It looks like Jesus on the cross—the greatest display of forgiveness.

Jesus is enough (an invitation)

Jesus wants to come close.

The Lord has expressed his desire to come close to us, both in scripture and through our leadership. This is the heart of God, that he would dwell with his people, deeply, richly, intimately. Communion with the Lord is our greatest honor.

He has made himself available, have you?

Our response to the Lord as a church matters. We are being intentional about coming before him in humility and faith—not just for a one time event or a certain outcome, but to be faithful in seeking him as a lifestyle. That’s why every gathering is focused on coming close to him, so he will come close to us (James 4:8).

Let’s practice what we preach.

We have three opportunities during the week to do just that. Our Prayer Room is designed to set ourselves before the Lord, to seek him and minister to him. While there is still some teaching, our Bible Study has shifted to less conversation and more prayer—we are praying through the scriptures as we read them. Our Worship Service gives the Lord space to speak and move how he wants as we seek him. The bottom line: We don’t just want to talk about it, we want to do it—we need and desire the nearness of his presence.

We’re asking that you make special efforts to join us in seeking the Lord.
