📍 Venue Update — Interfaith Perspectives: Understanding Jesus and Mary in Islam and Christianity

Please note that our upcoming Christian-Muslim Dialogue event has been relocated to the Utah Islamic Center multipurpose hall.

All other details remain the same — same date, same time, same program.

We are grateful to the Granite Library for their partnership and support. The venue change is due to a temporary equipment issue at the library that is beyond their control. Granite Library remains a wonderful community resource and we look forward to partnering with them again in the future.

If you have already registered, no action is needed — we look forward to seeing you there!

Alhamdulillah, we have reached the blessed conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan.
After thorough checks and reports from moon-sighting committees worldwide, it has been confirmed that the Shawwal crescent moon was not sighted anywhere on the evening of the 29th day of Ramadan. We will complete 30 days of Ramadan.

Therefore, Utah Islamic Center and the Utah Hilal Committee declares Eid will be on Friday, March 20th.

Eid prayers will be held at Classic Fun Center on Friday mornings at the times listed on the flyer.

We encourage everyone to pay their Zakat al-Fitr before the Eid prayer if not already done: https://us.mohid.co/ut/westjordan/uic/masjid/online/donation/11

May Allah accept our fasting, our prayers, and our good deeds throughout this Ramadan. May He grant us the joy and blessings of Eid, unite our hearts, and bring peace to the ummah and the world.

Eid Mubarak to you and your loved ones!

*Official UIC Statement*

Assalamu ‘Alaykum,

Earlier this evening at approximately 7:30 PM, an individual followed Imam Shuaib from his home and fired several shots at him. By the mercy and protection of Allah (SWT), he was not harmed.

Alhamdulillah.

Law enforcement is conducting a full investigation. We ask the community to make dua and avoid speculation.

Heightened security measures will be in place at UIC to ensure the safety of all who attend. May Allah (SWT) protect our Imam and our community.
