This is a Christian community built for friendship and adventure. Just because we are getting older doesn’t mean we have to become boring! This group is meant to unite fellow Christian believers in our community from all church bodies. It caters to ages 25-45, but that’s just a suggestion, not a requirement. This is a place to meet and form close friendships. It’s not bible study; it’s a social gr
oup to have adventures with fellow believers (non-believers are always welcome too). Does anyone else feel like after you get past about 25 years old your church community no longer offers an easy way to connect socially? I mean you can join a small group, but it’s just not the same. Why do people assume that when you get older, you become boring? Why do we limit our interactions with other Christians to the ones who go to the same church building? Religion isn’t about the church you go to or the pastor you have. It’s about a relationship with God and having a community of like-minded individuals. Let’s start a group where everyone is welcome to join in the adventure. What’s stopping us from living our best life together as believers?! Let's do all the things:
BBQs
Hiking
Rock Climbing
Boating
Skiing
Mountain biking
Paddleboarding
Rafting
Backpacking
Karaoke
Game nights
Wineries
Breweries
Travel
Volunteering
Maybe even do a mission trip together
Sky's the limit (Well maybe not. Let's go skydiving too!)
etc...
*We probably won't do Bible studies in this group, but if you want to find a few people who want to form a small group, that’s awesome. That’s what this group is for. However, when it comes to discussing certain religious views, just be respectful if there are differing views on the subject. You can share your views, but if it’s important let God do the work, don’t try to force someone to agree with you. Just like in any family, we are all entitled to our own opinions. Just be open to HEALTHY discussion so relationships won't be damaged.
