7th grade Life Science is filled with opportunities to learn hands-on.
A few examples this year include: cell identification with microscopes, testing lung capacity, determining blood type, and using orthopedical surgical tools.

The 4th graders were busy at work to wrap up the year preparing to host a business fair earlier this week.

Their tasks included combining things they learned in social studies, math, and handwriting.

In social studies they learned about entrepreneurs, supply/demand, advertising, and resources (natural, human, and capital).
In math they learned about decimals - place value, adding and subtracting. The only form of payment at the business fair was check! Students wrote checks and had to add and subtract their purchases from their running balance.
In handwriting all year they worked on improving their skills in cursive.
