Pastor Jay and Ambia are the Pastors of this great Ministry. We are a non-denominational church. Church denominations are man-made & were created in part to divide so we do not embrace them, we like to embrace, follow and
model ourselves after the church the Apostles started in the book of Acts. We are a non-traditional church. If you’re looking for a church that utilizes traditional & conventional customs (such as how the word is delivered, dress codes, order of service etc.) we welcome you to come but with the understanding that certain traditions you have become accustomed to are man-made and have the potential to hinder a move of God (Mark 7:13) and for that reason alone, we don’t embrace them. What We Believe
We believe in operating in the Gifts of the Spirit according to 1 Corinthians Chapter 12:4-11
We believe in holding firm to the values pointed out in 2 Corinthians 6:17, Leviticus 11:44 & 1 Peter 1:16 of holiness and sanctification which simply means to be cleansed & set apart/aside for God’s use (in this case, we are cleansed & set apart from our old self/ways/nature) having said that, although some of us are more mature & and have become victorious in a lot of areas in our Christian walk, we also understand that no one is perfect but all are striving daily to be all that God desires us to be (Philippians 3:12-13) We are encouraged to know that with God’s help along with His grace & mercy, we can achieve that goal and more (Jude 1:24 & Matthew 19:26) and would like to help you achieve that goal as well from a non-judgmental approach. In accordance with John 3:16-17 & Luke 19:10 we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to earth to save & redeem us from sin thus being the only door by which we can inherit eternal life (John 10:9). After dying for our sins he was resurrected and now sits at the right hand of God (two separate individuals-Hebrews 10:12) in heaven serving as our advocate, high priest, mediator, intercessor & brother, and will be there until he returns for the church. Supporting Scriptures: 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Matthew 12:50, Hebrews 2:11&17, 1 John 2:1, Hebrews 7:25 & Hebrews 8:1 &6. We believe in Women Leaders: there are many instances/examples of Women Leaders throughout the Bible, Joel 2:28-32 & Acts 2:15-21 states that the Lord's Spirit is poured upon ALL FLESH and that Sons & Daughters (both male & female) will Prophesy (Speak God's Word). These scriptures prove that God doesn't discriminate when it comes to a particular gender proclaiming His word, we are in agreement with the Lord concerning this matter. Dress code: Here at Life Changers, we like to see everyone from God’s point of view which is from the heart, not the outward appearance (1 Samuel 16:7). God doesn’t judge you based on your outward appearance nor will we. We have a “relaxed dress code” at our church; if you want to “dress up” or “dress down”, feel free to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, our only request is that you use discretion as you make your selections, please avoid wearing anything that could be viewed as revealing, or provocative. On that same note, if you desire to come to church but you feel you don’t have anything appropriate/presentable to wear, please don’t let that be the deciding factor as to why you can’t come.
