📢 **Notice of Scheduled Phone Closures – 2026**

Please see the attached flyer for important information regarding scheduled phone closures throughout 2026.

On the listed dates, our phones will be unavailable from **8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.** to allow staff dedicated time to process documents, complete case actions, and address past-due items. This focused work time helps us provide more timely and efficient service to the individuals and families we serve.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we continue working to improve our services.

If you have an urgent matter on one of the scheduled dates, please visit our office in person.

We’d like to take a moment to spotlight Transforming Lives thru Christ, TLC Ministries, one of the organizations already prequalified for nomination at an upcoming Jackson 100 For Good meeting.

Few things impact a community more directly than making sure families and children have enough to eat.

Since 2007, TLC Ministries has worked to serve Jackson County families through hunger relief and community support programs focused on helping meet both physical and spiritual needs.

Their impact throughout the county has been remarkable.

Through their Summer Meals for Kids program, TLC Ministries provides free weekly food boxes to children during the summer months, helping ensure kids continue receiving meals when school is not in session. At one point, the organization provided more than 65,000 meals to children in a single year through this effort alone.

They have also supported after-school meal programs, operated a food pantry serving thousands of households, and distributed thousands of pounds of fresh produce to local families.

What makes their story especially powerful is that even as funding sources declined, TLC Ministries continued serving families as long as they possibly could because of their commitment to the children and people of this community.

Organizations like TLC Ministries remind us how important local nonprofits are in helping meet everyday needs for families throughout Jackson County.

We’re grateful for the work they continue doing and excited to have them included in our growing list of prequalified nonprofits.

Over the past 3 weeks, we have been absolutely overwhelmed by the love and support from our community. ❤️

To everyone who has shared our posts, invited friends, liked, commented, told others about us, and especially those who came through our doors to eat with us — THANK YOU. Truly.

Seeing familiar faces, meeting new friends, hearing your kind words, and watching people enjoy the food has meant more to us than we can put into words. Every visit, every share, and every encouraging comment reminds us why we started this journey.

The FYT Stop was created to be more than just a place to eat — it was built to bring people together while helping support the ministry programs that feed our community. Because of YOU, that mission is growing already.

We hope you felt welcomed, enjoyed your visit, and left with a full stomach and a full heart. 😊
