Wellston High School Alumni presents ‘A Tribute to Teen Town’
The Wellston High School Alumni President John Pelletier has announced that this year’s Alumni Celebration and banquet will feature “A Tribute to Teen Town”. This will be a multimedia presentation that will consist of vintage pictures of Teen Town, the Teen Town dances and gatherings. This audiovisual presentation will also feature songs from the 60’s recorded “live” during the 2020 Remembering 60’s Concert at The Markay Theatre. Performing on these videos will be Wellston Alums John Jones, Bart Wiseman, David Leach, John Pelletier plus Craig Klein. The Wellston High School Alumni Association is excited to present this small piece of Wellston history.
Also, tickets for this year’s Wellston High School Alumni Banquet are still available. The 136th Annual Wellston Alumni Banquet will be on Saturday May 23rd at the Wellston Middle School. The ticket price includes a ‘full’ Dinner Buffet and Social Hour which will begin at 5pm and the Alumni Celebration will start at 6pm.
This year’s dinner buffet will include Prime Rib, turkey breast, shrimp cocktail, Beef Wellington bites, coconut chicken, stuffed mushrooms, bacon wrapped chestnuts, fruits and veggies and a 'full' salad and dessert bar which is being catered by Tina King and the King of Catering. Cost of each ticket will be only $25.00.
Wellston High School Alumni Banquet tickets on now on sale at Callebs Sports and Trophies on Ohio Avenue in Wellston.
Callebs Sports and Trophies is open Tuesday - Friday 11am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to Noon.
Also, a special "thank you" to the Wellston Lion’s Club for donating the Wellston High School Alumni Banquet tickets.
