🌿 WEDNESDAY DAILY DEVOTIONAL 🌿

“Anyone who loves Me will obey My teaching. My Father will love them, and We will come to them and make Our home with them.” — John 14:23 ❤️

What a beautiful promise from Jesus: He doesn’t simply call us to know about Him—He invites us into a relationship where His presence dwells within us.

Love for Jesus is seen in the way we trust Him, follow His Word, and surrender our hearts to His guidance. Obedience is not about earning God’s love; it is a response to the incredible love He has already shown us.

Today, open the door of your heart a little wider.

🏡 Make room for His presence.
📖 Follow His truth.
❤️ Walk in His love.

No matter where you are or what you are facing, Jesus desires to make His home with you. You are never alone—His presence goes with you.

Take a moment today to pray:
“Lord, let my heart be a place where You are welcome. Teach me to love You more and to walk faithfully in Your Word.”

✨ Today’s reminder: Love Him. Obey Him. Walk in His presence.

🏡 Pastor Seth finished our series on Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life! He started with an important question ⬇️

💡What comes to mind when you think of home?

Home is a place of welcome, belonging, refuge, and love. Through Jesus, we are invited into a new address—an eternal home where He is with us, and we are with Him.

✔️He continued with three important categories:

✨ Identity – We are His. Our identity is found in Christ, not in the world.

🤍 Promise – “You in Me, and I in you.” Jesus promises to dwell within us and make His home in our hearts.

💡 Light – His presence shines in our lives, guiding us and reminding us that we are never alone.

Jesus wants to change our address—not just where we live, but where we belong. He welcomes us into a family far bigger than anything we know on earth. His house is built on a solid foundation, and He is our rock, our security, and our true home.

No matter where you have been or what you carry today, there is room for you in His house. 🏠❤️

“We will come to him and make our home with him.” — John 14:23

✨ Thank You for Coming to VBS! ✨

What an incredible few days of laughter, worship, games, crafts, and growing closer to Jesus! 💙💛 We are so thankful for every child, family, volunteer, and leader who made our Vacation Bible School such a special time.

Lumi Light reminded us of the powerful truth found in John 14:6:
“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Our prayer is that the light of Jesus will continue to shine in the hearts of each child long after VBS has ended. 🌟

Thank you for letting us share God’s love with your family. We can’t wait to see you again at First Baptist Church, Jackson, Ohio!

☔🌤️ After the Rain Comes the Sunshine 🌈

Life often brings seasons of rain—days filled with tears, uncertainty, disappointment, and struggles we never expected. In those moments, we may wonder if the storm will ever pass. But God never wastes the rain. He uses those difficult seasons to grow our faith, draw us closer to Him, and remind us that He is our shelter in every storm.

Then, just as the clouds part and the sun begins to shine again, we see His goodness, His mercy, and His faithfulness. The sunshine does not mean the storm never happened—it is proof that God walked with us through it.

The rain may fall for a season, but God’s promises shine forever. 🌦️

“Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.”
— Psalm 30:5

No matter what storm you are facing today, keep your eyes on the One who controls the rain and paints the rainbow. The sunshine is coming. ☀️🌈

🌿 WEDNESDAY DAILY DEVOTIONAL 🌿

“Built by God. Led by His Word.”

The book of Ezra reminds us that God’s people were able to rebuild because they returned to Him, trusted His promises, and followed His Word.

The same is true for us today.

When life feels broken, God restores.
When we feel discouraged, God strengthens.
When we feel lost, God’s Word provides direction.

Ezra teaches us that revival begins when we seek God wholeheartedly and allow Him to rebuild what has been neglected in our lives.

📖 “So they strengthened their hands for the good work.” — Ezra 10:4

Today, ask yourself:
✨ Am I spending time in God’s Word?
✨ Am I trusting Him to rebuild what feels broken?
✨ Am I faithful in the work He has given me?

We’ve had an amazing time learning, growing, and celebrating together during Vacation Bible School, and we’re not done making memories yet! 💙
