6/17/26 Update
I spoke to Lindsey today and Aaron has surgery on Monday.

Needing more prayers. Millie’s daddy, Aaron , saw an orthopedic doctor today and his shoulder is shattered. They allowed him to come home, but will be going to OSU for shoulder surgery. They should know in the next couple of days

6/17/26 Update
Jeremy is HOME! He was able to “show off” for the team of doctors and physical therapists. He has been sequestered to the basement where he has everything he needs. He has a long way to go. Please keep them all in your prayers!

PRAYER REQUEST!!
Jeremy Kisor fell off their roof Sunday afternoon along with Little Millie’s dad, Aaron. By God’s grace, it was on the shorter side of the house. Jeremy broke his femur at his hip (the ball at the top), and a vertebrae in his lower back about hip level. He is at OSU and had surgery early this morning. they put titanium rods for the ball joint/femur and is in a “clam shell” for his back.
Aaron dislocated his shoulder.
I will update more as I am told by Amanda and/or Lyndsey.

Our one-minute short entry is “The Old Rugged Cross,” one of the most beloved hymns in Christian music. Written in 1912 by Methodist evangelist George Bennard, it honors the sacrifice of Jesus Christ at Calvary. Enjoy!

Thanks to the talents of Susanna Blanton, you see what a Sunday morning might have looked like shortly after our beautiful church was built in 1887. If you are looking for a church home for the twenty first century that will greet you with love, compassion, and empathy with a great music program thrown in, give us a try. Our Sunday service is at 10:30 with coffee and doughnuts at 10:00. The First Presbyterian Church of Jackson was relevant in 1887 and is even more relevant today! Come see us!

Seventeen invaded Olive Garden for a wonderful time of food and fellowship for our June traveling diner's event. Since our pastor was on vacation out of town, we felt safe playing an "Old Testament" trivia game. Had he been there he would have learned of the need for about 12 future sermon topics! Great fun!

Happy Saturday, everyone out there! Today, we bring you a classic gospel hymn, “In the Garden,” written by C. Austin Miles back in 1912. Countless artists, as with most of our beloved hymns, have covered this piece. Our version comes from country star Alan Jackson, of whom we have now covered three songs from his 2006 Precious Memories album. Enjoy the calm!
