25th Anniversary Celebration Picnic 9/20

09/06/2026

There are lots of different depictions of evil forces in this world. We will look to one of the earliest followers of Jesus and his letter to a small community of Christians as he encourages and reminds them of the spiritual evil in this world. We will turn to 1 Peter 5:6-11 - "How to Handle the Devil."

Every Sunday morning, we observe, consider, and wonder together; we worship God if we believe in Him. We hear stories from ordinary people; we sing; we cast our cares and practice quietness; we talk with each other; we hear a message about Jesus from the Bible. Together, we look to Jesus to better understand ourselves, each other, and the world.

There are several reasons why we could be going through hardships in this life. This week we will look at 1 Peter 4:12-19 - "There are two kinds of suffering."
