Man, what a week for our student ministry!!

We had an adult leader teach, students lead games and pray during our Wednesday service, and three students share their testimonies at FCA Fields of Faith! I love getting to see students and adults step up and use their gifts to serve the Lord!

Ephesians 4:12 talks about equipping God’s people to do the work of ministry, and this is exactly what gets me excited! Seeing people go from just attending to actively participating and taking ownership of their faith!

And it’s not just the people on stage! It’s those running tech, leading worship, greeting, checking students in, leading small groups, and serving behind the scenes. Every role matters, and we need each other!

At the end of the day, it’s not about making Greenwood’s name known or putting any pastor, adult, or student in the spotlight. It’s about all of us working together to make JESUS known!

Love seeing what God is doing, and I’m excited to see more of it!! These are the kinds of things we ought to celebrate!

Jersey Night is this Wednesday!

Wear a jersey from your favorite team. Don’t have one? Borrow one from a friend… or your grandma 😂 Don’t have a favorite pro or college team? Rep your high school or co-op. No jersey or shirt? Wear a shirt from a team, club, band, organization, or something else you’re involved in. Just rep something. Don’t be lame! You have the rest of your life to be lame. 😂

Invite someone new to come with you! You and the person you bring will both be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a jersey of your choice. One winner will be drawn from all the entries!

Wednesday, September 16
Doors open at 5:30
Worship starts at 6:30
Ends at 7:30
Taco Casa at the Snack Shack — bring yo money!

See y’all Wednesday!
