EVERYONE WE REALLY NEED HELP WITH THIS YEARS CHRISTMAS PRISON OUTREACH. WE MAY HAVE TO CANCEL.

As you know, the Prison Ministry and Homeless Outreach is dear to my heart, as I have been both homeless and in prison. This Christmas, Gospel Blend Ministries will be doing a Special Christmas Event at the Walker Sayle Unit in Breckenridge Tx. It's a lonely time of year in Prison during the holidays. Many feel forgotten and lose hope. Prison suicides are at their highest during this time. Our desire is to bless each of the inmates with a gift bag. We want them to know they are not forgotten and that they are loved. So we are reaching out to our Ministry friends and family to partner with us to make this event successful.
There are 650-700 inmates, and our cost is estimated to be $3200. This comes to about $5.00 for each bag. This is a list of the approved items we may give:

Starlight Peppermint disc,
Cookies individually packaged,
Chips lunch sized,
Crackers individually packaged-peanut butter, cheese etc.,
Socks crew cut white,

"When I was in prison, you visited me"

Many of my friends have spent time in a prison cell like myself. And I'm amazed at just how many of us have turned our lives around and surrendered to Jesus as the Lord and savior of our lives. This is probably the worst time of the year to be an inmate. Thanksgiving and Christmas are almost here and grief and depression seem to settle into our minds. Many inmates are just like I myself was. They don't receive mail or money on their books and they feel forgotten, abandoned and alone. It is our desire to let these men know that they are not forgotten. That someone does love them. That Jesus loves them even where they're at. The prison Christmas gift bag outreach is very special to me because I was there as an inmate and I had nothing. Only what TDCJ gave me which isn't much. Clothes and a bar soap. Terrible food and very little of that. So I'm reaching out to my friends and ministry partners and asking you to search your hearts and if possible to donate to this outreach. 100% of all donations will go to this ministry event. If you've ever been in prison I'm especially asking you to take a minute and reflect back to that time maybe even put yourself back inside there for just a minute. We can show them the love of Jesus by showing them our love. To someone that already feels forgotten and unloved, this can potentially break down the walls that may be separating them from recovery and a new life in Christ. Please consider giving to this worthy cause any amount helps and pray for God's blessings on it. There has also been a gofund me set up just for this event. You can reach me at 682-288-2321. I will be glad to answer any questions. Cash app to:
