This is our final week before VBS. As our volunteers are decorating, preparing supplies, practicing puppet skits, making slide shows, shopping for food, and so much more, we pray that they are surrounded by God's perfect peace, and encouraged by and focused on the Good News of the Gospel that they will be sharing with kiddos next week!

The day after Trinity Sunday, we remember that the name of our Triune God is not just something we confess on Sundays, it’s the name placed on us in Baptism. The Father loves you, the Son saves you, and the Holy Spirit keeps you in the faith. We are further encouraged by Jesus’ promise in the Great Commission: “Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20)
Whatever this week holds, you do not go alone.

With summer in full swing, check out the linked article from The Lutheran Witness on the positives of summertime boredom for kids: "...healthy boredom can be a good thing when it grants opportunities for thought, wonder, creation and prayer. How do you make the most of your kids' summer boredom?"

We can give our kids the gift of the right kind of boredom and provide them with a chance to think.

We love partnering with Grace House Ministries, Inc. during their Baby Bottle Boomerang. If you haven't grabbed a baby bottle, we have more at church. Remember to bring them back by Father's Day, June 21st.

Our Baby Bottle Boomerang kicked off on Mother's Day, May 10th. So far you've raised $3,602.82! Our fundraising goal this year is $100,000. Help us reach our goal by Father's Day. Don't have a bottle? You can still donate at https://ghmtx.com/babybottle/.

Thank you for providing hope and a future for the unborn, moms, dads and students!

Through faith in Christ, we are not left empty or alone; He pours out His Holy Spirit upon us. The Spirit fills us with faith, strengthens us with God’s Word, and causes living water to flow from our lives into the world around us. Because of Jesus, the source of true life, you can rejoice that through Him, the Holy Spirit is yours.

Whether your heart holds pride, grief, gratitude, or sorrow, may God meet you with His comfort and peace. We ask the Lord to surround all who mourn with His promises and the hope of the resurrection through Christ Jesus.

This Memorial Day, we give thanks for those who gave their lives in service to our country. We remember their sacrifice with gratitude, honor their courage, and pray for their families. As we reflect, we also look to Christ, our sure hope, who brings peace beyond this world through the sacrifice of His life.
