The number of items dispensed from the MFP in May was 379.

Items we are running low on are: Canned meats (chicken, tuna, pork, spam, etc); Peanut Butter; Cans/jars of spaghetti sauce; Gravy packets; Drink boxes; Popcorn; Canned pasta (spaghetti & meatballs, ravioli, etc) Kids Snacks. Thanks to all who support this mission! Please bring items to our entrances rather than putting into the food pantry. Thank you!

Introduction to Worship: “Dominion Over Your Works”
Pr. Corey Smith’s Sermon — Genesis 1:1-2:4a, Psalm 8 . . .
✝️ The Psalmist asks, “What are humans that you are mindful of them?” and identifies how God has placed humans with dominion over all of creation. We (especially farmers) often think about how we hold the world (or the land) in trust, since we are on earth only a little while, but what does that mean for our actions and attitude? The Gospel lesson for the day sends the eleven out,
“GO and make disciples.” How does the message of the human place in creation play out in their (and our) evangelism?

💐 The altar flowers this weekend are from Bill Hemmes in memory of his beautiful wife, Laura’s, birthday (June 3rd).
💐 Altar flowers are also shared from Meredith and Dan Borchardt in celebration of the recent wedding of their daughter, Janet to Carter Bratland (Saturday, May 23rd). Congratulations to all!

Special thanks to Al Kammeyer, Jim Bossom, Kevin Young and his truck, and Ali and Neil Meester's trailer, we have gotten the shed for pop cans back to the church from West Union. Wow! We have a few minor things to repair. We plan to make a different opening, but other than that, hopefully next week we'll get it complete. Thanks to all! Team work makes the dream work---and God helps, too. ❤
