Grace Reformed Church Preaching Christ in the heart of Wausau We began services on April 22, 2012. Thus, we have covenanted together to practice it, protect it, and to preach it.

At Grace Reformed Church, Wausau, WI, we testify to the gospel of the grace of God (Acts 20:24), make Jesus known with our neighbors and contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints (Jude 3). As Christ's Church, we desire to grow faithfully in our holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus (2 Tim 1:9). Ou

r first service was conducted in the living room of our Pastor’s home with 10 people in attendance. Pastor Adam saw a need for a church who unashamedly espoused the biblical teaching of the gospel as reclaimed by the European Reformers of the 16th Century. The reformation summed this up in what is called the Five Solas: Sola Scriptura (Scripture Alone), Sola Fide (by Faith Alone), Sola Gratia (by Grace Alone), Solus Christus (through Christ Alone), and Soli Deo Gloria (to God be the Glory Alone). We desired an assembly of believers who would worship, teach, and proclaim the gospel of Grace as the Scripture presents it. Since 2017, we have been meeting at 1102 S 4th Ave, Wausau, WI 54401.

I read this just this week, "For many modern churches, prayer-especially congregational prayer- is supplemental and not fundamental, peripheral and not central to the church's life and mission. The modern evangelical church is often at its weakest where our forebearers were at their strongest. The Church today is strong on activities, plans, and programs; it is often weak on seeking God in prayer." It's the first of the month which means this Sunday is our Early Prayer Time. Join us as we approach the Throne of Grace corporately. Prayer time starts at 9:30 am, Sunday.

In our 'Early Study Hour' we are emphasizing something extremely important and lacking in modern western churches. The Montra of churches in the 90's, "We don't do doctrine, only Jesus" has taken its toll on the faith of generations since. We want to do our part to regain that ground. Our series goes something like this, “Everyone Should be a Theologian: Defying Theological Illiteracy and Unchurchedness: Learning Biblical Theology One Term at A Time: _________________". Every Sunday we fill-in the blank. Tomorrow we are writing in "Atonement" in the first part of two lessons. Come join us as we dive deep into the mind of God by understanding the intricacies of the Gospel. Tomorrow @ 9:30am.

Due to the current weather forecast and expected travel conditions, all church services are cancelled for tomorrow. It appears that tomorrow will not be a safe day for travel, and we want everyone to stay safe.
