Reaching unreached people groups is not a simple task. These communities often live in some of the most difficult, isolated and challenging environments. The barriers for missionaries are vast: unfamiliar languages, complex cultural worldviews and no access to Scripture in their heart language. It’s not enough simply to go. Training is needed.
That's why Ethnos360’s training exists. Future missionaries gain the essential skills to face these challenges. They learn a biblical foundation, church planting principles, cross-cultural engagement skills, procedures for the development of literacy programs, Scripture translation principles and Bible teaching methods that are both understandable and transformative in order to plant a growing church that will thrive even after the missionaries have gone.
This life-changing work begins with preparation. Equipping is not optional; it is essential.

The new semester is officially underway!

Registration is done, student kick-off is in the books, and orientation is complete. Tomorrow, classes will start. Our students will dive into another semester of studying God’s Word, growing in their understanding of Scripture, building relationships, and learning what it looks like to live out truth in everyday life.

Tomorrow is the day! Students begin arriving on campus, and after weeks of preparation, the campus is about to come alive again.

We’ve been busy behind the scenes getting everything ready for another school year—preparing classrooms, organizing materials, and making sure all the little details are in place for our students’ arrival.

For many of our students, tomorrow will be the beginning of something completely new. Some are excited, some are nervous, and some may be feeling a little bit of both. We’re praying that as they arrive, they’ll quickly feel welcomed, loved, and at home.

We’re so thankful for the opportunity to be part of this season in their lives. Please pray for our students as they travel, settle in, and begin a new school year. Pray especially that God would work in their hearts and use this year to draw them closer to Himself.

We spent some time at Green Meadows Petting Zoo with the grandkids, where the animals were definitely the stars of the show. Between feeding the goats, checking out the kittens, and seeing all the other farm animals, there was plenty to keep everyone entertained.

After years of faithful translation work, the Lamogai people now hold God's Word in their own language. What an incredible reminder that God's desire is for every people group to know Him through His Word.

Aloha! We had such a fun time celebrating Serenity and Maggie's birthdays this weekend with a luau party and some of their school friends. It’s hard to believe how quickly these girls are growing up!

More than anything, though, we're simply thankful—for another year of watching them grow and for God's faithfulness in their lives. Our greatest prayer is that they would continue to grow in their love for the Lord, trust Him wholeheartedly, and choose to follow Him all the days of their lives.

Summer is an ideal time to tackle major building projects while students are away. Thanks to the generosity of those who gave to the capital campaign, one of those projects is now becoming a reality: the installation of 430 new windows throughout the main building.

Chuck and I really enjoyed getting out and doing some hiking together this summer. Wisconsin is full of beautiful state and county parks, and we've loved exploring as many trails as we can. It's been a wonderful way to slow down, spend time together, get a little exercise, and appreciate the beauty of God's amazing creation.

Summer with the grandkids is equal parts fun, chaos, and cardio! So far we've chased them through playgrounds, eaten more ice cream than we probably should, explored a few new places, and answered approximately 4,327 questions. But it’s all worth it to make memories with our grandkids.
These little people have a way of making ordinary days unforgettable. We're soaking up every laugh, every hug, and every sticky, messy, joy-filled moment before summer slips away.

While our ministry responsibilities continue throughout the summer, the pace is a little lighter with the students away. Summer also means the return of our Thursday Staff Work Days! We kick off the morning with fellowship (and donuts!), then spread out across campus to tackle a variety of projects that help keep our campus looking its best.
Last week, Chuck and I spent the morning painting an apartment to prepare it for new staff who will be arriving soon. It's always encouraging to see how much can be accomplished when everyone pitches in and works together.
