Equip Conference 2026!

Early Thursday morning, our students headed to the Ethnos360 Training Center in Missouri.

Over several days, they heard from speakers who challenged them with God’s heart for the nations, spent time in breakout sessions, and shared conversations that stretched and encouraged them. There was also plenty of worship, great food, and sports.

We’re thankful for opportunities like this for our students to step away from their regular routines and be reminded of the bigger picture... God's heartbeat for the world.

Chuck and I had a fun evening at China Lights with friends! China Lights displays unique, hand painted lanterns that are illuminated with lights. The lantern displays were incredible, with so many colors and details to enjoy. There was so much to look at that we decided to walk through a second time.

I’m so thankful to have these precious pictures with my grandkids! Being their grandma is one of my favorite blessings, and having these memories captured means so much. The days go by quickly, and they’re growing up way too fast!

A huge thank-you to Kim for taking the time to capture these sweet moments and for sharing these beautiful pictures with us! What a special gift to have these memories to look back on for years to come.

We had such a fun day with our “kids” at our dorm event to the Elegant Farmer! We enjoyed walking through the apple orchard, checking out the pumpkins, trying not to get lost in the corn maze, and taking a hayride. And of course, we had to get some apple c***r donuts! The weather couldn’t have been more beautiful, and it was a perfect day to get outside, enjoy the fall scenery, and make some fun memories together.

We had a special day at EBI this week as representatives from different parts of the world came to campus for the Global Equip Expo.

The students spent the morning learning about different countries and hearing from missionaries and ministry leaders about what God is doing around the world. They also had the opportunity to attend breakout sessions focused on specific countries and regions. It was a great way for them to learn more about different cultures, ministries, and opportunities to serve the Lord around the world.

That evening, students could visit different staff homes to spend more time with the representatives, ask questions, and hear more about their experiences in ministry.

We had the privilege of hosting the South Asia group in our home! We enjoyed a great evening of snacks and conversation as we got to hear about what God is doing in South Asia.

At Ethnos360 Bible Institute all our students study through the whole Bible starting in Genesis going to Revelation in 2 years! Our purpose is to equip believers in the foundational truths of the Bible with an emphasis on cross-cultural church planting!

Chuck’s Memory Class is off to a great start!

Every Tuesday evening, the students get together for Memory class. Chuck spends about 30 minutes teaching and giving them some tips to help with memorization. Then comes the fun part - activities, games, and different strategies to help make all that memorizing actually stick! The students are working through the book of Titus, and believe it or not, this week is already the test on Chapter 1.

It’s been fun watching the students work together, encourage one another, and discover that memorizing Scripture doesn’t have to be quite as painful as they may have originally thought.

Please pray for the students as they continue working through Titus, that they wouldn’t just memorize the words to pass the test, but that God would use His Word to really work in their hearts and lives.

It never ceases to amaze me how creative our students are! Instead of simply putting information on paper, they found a creative way to bring the timeline to life and make the history of missions more engaging and memorable. I love seeing the different ways our students think outside the box and use their creativity in their assignments.
