The Great Exchange

The Great Exchange What is the Great Exchange? It's that Christ exchanged His righteousness for our sin (2 Cor. 5:21).

At The Great Exchange, we use surveys to allow people to open up and talk about their spiritual background and their understanding of God, Jesus and Christianity. After they have explained their views, we ask if we can offer some of our own. When students see that we genuinely care and are open to listen, they often, in turn, are eager to hear from us. Most of the students we’ve spoken with, wheth

er raised in church or not, say that if there is a heaven, we will get in by our own good deeds. When we then contrast the true gospel with our culture’s current moralist “gospel”, people are often shocked and pleasantly surprised by the grace of the Great Exchange.

A new supply of Bibles, New Testaments, and apologetics books has arrived!

These will be given to students we meet in gospel conversations at our Great Exchange outreach events.

We are so thankful for our faithful supporters whose generosity makes this possible. Every Bible, book, and gospel booklet represents another opportunity for a student to investigate who Jesus is and hear the gospel story.

One of our ministers met up with a student he had contacted a few years ago. That student is still looking into the gospel after having read the four Gospels and the book of Acts.
Again, Lexington BC came out in force to minister to UGA students.
Another one of our ministers heard a long story from a student how his dad was radically converted while hearing the gospel in a bar.
We thank God for His goodness with giving us 22 conversations.

Instead of being on a college campus today, TGE went to Grayson Day Fair hosted by Cornerstone Baptist church. We were certainly where we needed to be as the Lord gave us 80+ Gospel conversations.

Many people heard the Gospel today and took materials to read. Several expressed they want to give it more thought. Thank you for your prayers.

Jenni realized while taking a survey with a student that he was a committed Christian who attended a local evangelical church. She encouraged him to join us in sharing the Gospel and he said he would! He put down his backpack and shared his faith alongside us for the next couple of hours.
The best word to describe our day at UGA today is fun! We enjoyed partnering with Living Hope Church, who hosted us, and Ask A Former Atheist ministry. Together, with our other team members, we had 24 conversations and 2 professions of faith. What an awesome God we serve!

We always enjoy sharing the Gospel alongside the BCM and today was no exception. At Georgia Gwinnett College we had a total of 24 Gospel conversations.

We are praising God for His faithfulness and for another great day at UNG Gainesville with Hopewell Baptist Church! An encouraging number of pastors and church members came to be a part of the event. Together we had 26 spiritual conversations and praise God for two professions of faith! We could see one young woman’s countenance lift as she acknowledged putting her trust in Christ alone as her Lord and Savior. Please pray for these students and for the church leaders following up.
