"Seek the Kingdom of God Above All Else" — A Kingdom Fund Update from Dianne Swann

This week, Dianne Swann shared a powerful Ministry Moment during worship, walking our church family through what three years of Kingdom Fund generosity has actually made possible. It's more than a giving campaign — it's the story of a church living out its call.

Because of your faithfulness, WFUMC has been able to:
🎹 Purchase a new sanctuary piano and lectern microphone
🛠️ Renovate Rooms
🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Launch Faith IRL, our new middle school ministry and confirmation program, helping students navigate school, friends, social media, and big questions about faith
🎓 Invest in our young adults
👵 Keep JOY (our retired adults' fellowship) active, connected, and out on new adventures
🚐 Enabling groups to experience events like Winter Jam and mission trips to Bayou La Batre and South Carolina
🏕️ Camp Glisson Retreats
🌱 Work toward a $15,000 goal to support local organizations: Butterfly Dreams Farm and OARC

As Dianne reminded us: the Kingdom Fund isn't simply about dollars and expenses — it's about people, ministry, and the opportunity to share God's love with our community.

Watkinsville First United Methodist Church UMW provided lunch for Mercy Health Staff and Volunteers today.
Mercy Health medical services are provided every weekday during regular operating hours, plus most Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Dental and behavioral health services are available every weekday as well.
