Catholic Community of Washington Our Lady of Hope Parish & Washington Catholic Schools Our Lady of Hope was dedicated on August 31, 2008 as the result of merging St. Mary and St. Simon Parishes.

In 1837 Bishop Simon Brute, first bishop of this diocese, then the Diocese of Vincennes, directed Father Simon Lalumiere to move to Washington and establish a parish, St. Simon Parish. St. Mary Parish was founded in 1874. Over 800 registered families and 100 Spanish speaking families combine to make this Eucharist centered parish very much alive in the Spirit. Follow us on Twitter:

We were blessed and grateful to have Sister Elfie Del Rosario, FMA join us for Girls Night, growing together in faith and friendship. The East & North deaneries collaborated to bring young women together for prayer, food, crafts, new friendships and joyful memories. God is good!
