Not because you had it all together.
Not because life was easy.
Not because someone made you.

Just because you decided to take one step.

The truth is, community doesn't happen by accident. It starts when ordinary people choose to show up—again and again—and make room for God to work.

This Sunday, we're kicking off Summer of Community, a series about finding connection, building friendships, and discovering that you were never meant to do life alone.

You don't have to know everyone.
You don't have to have all the answers.
You just have to show up.

There’s something powerful about praying over a place before it’s filled with people.

Tonight, people from every Bethany campus came together to write Scripture on walls, pray over future spaces, and lift up the people who will one day walk through these doors—the one grieving, the one searching for hope, the one longing for community, the one ready to take their next step with Jesus.

As the Washington campus expansion moves closer to completion, we were reminded that this building is about so much more than walls and rooms. It’s about people. It’s about lives being changed.

One church. Multiple locations. One mission.

Moments like these remind us how special it is to come together and pray for what God is going to do next. ❤️

The presence of weeds doesn't mean you're failing. It means you're human.

Tomorrow, we conclude our series, Weeds in My Garden, a series about mental health, healing, and the hope we have in Christ.

Whether you're in the middle of a battle or simply want to learn how to recognize and prevent the weeds that can quietly grow in all of us, this conversation is for you.

There is hope.
There is healing.

Worry can be loud.
But God is still present.

Worry pulls our minds in two directions—trying to trust God while still trying to control tomorrow.

But Jesus reminds us to shift our focus from the problem to the Provider.

✨ Even if life feels uncertain… God is still faithful.
✨ Even if the weight feels heavy… you don’t have to carry it alone.
✨ Even if tomorrow feels unclear… God is already there.

If worry, anxiety, or mental health struggles have felt heavy lately, this conversation is for you.

Today we’re celebrating 4 incredible interns as they finish their final day with us and prepare to graduate this Saturday! 🎓👏

Congratulations to Emily, Gabe, Meredith, and Riley—and to all of our area graduates! What a special season to celebrate.

The four of you have become such a meaningful part of our Bethany team. Thank you for serving so faithfully, always being willing to jump in and help, and for the way you stepped up, tried new things, and continued to learn and grow. We’re so thankful for the energy, heart, and impact each of you has brought to our team.

We’re going to miss you, but know we’ll always be cheering you on, praying for you, and celebrating all God has ahead for you. 💙

Worry has a way of pulling our thoughts in a hundred directions at once.

What starts as a small concern can quickly grow into something heavy and overwhelming.

But Scripture reminds us that peace is still possible.
Not because life is perfect, but because Jesus is present.

Psalm 61 says, “When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the Rock that is higher than I.” David didn’t pretend he was fine. He admitted he was overwhelmed—and asked God to lift him higher.

Maybe today your next step isn’t fixing everything.
Maybe it’s simply bringing it to God.

Try this:
Take your biggest “what if…” and turn it into an “even if…” prayer.
Even if I don’t know what’s next… God is with me.
Even if this feels heavy… God will carry me.
Even if it takes time… God is still faithful.

Last weekend was such a special moment at Bethany as we celebrated 29 families during Parent Child Dedication. 💛

What a beautiful reminder that children are a gift from God—and what an honor it is to pray over these families as they commit to raising their children to know and follow Jesus.

Church family, thank you for continuing to surround these parents with love, encouragement, and support. We can’t wait to see all God has in store for these precious little lives. ✨

We’re so excited about the launch of the new BKids Parent App — a simple, practical way to keep the conversation going beyond Sunday and help families grow in faith together throughout the week.
