🕊️ In Loving Memory of Sister Beth 🕊️
One year ago today, we said goodbye to someone who can never be replaced.
Sister Beth was so much more than a director at Lighthouse Recovery Center. She was family.
For years, she poured her heart, her time, her prayers, and so much of herself into this ministry and into the ladies who walked through our doors. She didn’t just run a program—she loved people.
And if you knew Sister Beth, you knew that love was genuine.
She saw our ladies during some of the hardest and most broken moments of their lives, and she never stopped seeing the person underneath it all. She believed in them when they struggled to believe in themselves. She prayed with them, cried with them, laughed with them, corrected them, encouraged them, and loved them through some incredibly difficult days.
She had a way of making people know that they mattered.
There are women today who are living differently because Sister Beth took the time to pour into them. Women who will never forget the conversations they had with her, the prayers she prayed over them, or the love she showed them when they needed it most.
That is Sister Beth’s legacy.
What made her so special could never be measured by a title. It was her heart, the heart of Christ. She gave so much of herself to Lighthouse because she genuinely loved the people God placed in front of her.
A year later, we still talk about her. We still tell the stories. We still miss her presence. And there are still moments when we wish we could have just one more conversation, one more laugh, or one more hug.
There is an empty place because Sister Beth is no longer here, but there are also pieces of her everywhere we look—in this ministry and especially in the lives of the women she loved so well.
Thank you for every prayer.
Every conversation.
Every long day.
Every woman you refused to give up on.
Every time you chose to love someone right where they were.
Thank you for pouring so much of yourself into Lighthouse.
But most of all, thank you for simply being Sister Beth. ❤️
One year later, we still miss you. We still love you. And we will always be grateful that God allowed Sister Beth to be such a special part of the Lighthouse family.
Your legacy lives on in every life you touched through you and the power of Jesus Christ that you walked in daily🙏
