TEMPLE OF GOD CHURCH

DOCTRINAL STATEMENT

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, written by holy men of old as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21)

We believe in one God, who is infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes and purpose. He was revealed to us as Father in Creation, Son in Redemption, and as Holy Ghost energizing the Church. (Genesis

1:1, Isaiah 44:8, 1 John 5:7, John 12:44-45 and 14:6-9)

We believe that in Jesus dwelleth all the fullness of the God head bodily, for it pleased The Father that in Him should all the fullness dwell. (Romans 1:20, Colossians 2:9)

We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus. He was God manifested in the flesh. (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:18-23, 1 Timothy 3:16)

We believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and that He ascended on high and has sent His Spirit, The Holy Ghost, which was poured out in Jesusalem over 2000 years agao, and is the same Spirit that fills us today. (1 Corinthians 15:4, Matthew 28:5 and 6:11, 2 Corinthians 5:15, Acts 2:4)

We believe in the baptism in water by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues. (Acts 2:4 and 2:38 and 8:14-17 and 10:44-48)

We believe in a holy, sanctified life, divine healing, communion, foot washing, and the glorious return of Jesus (Rapture) to catch away His Church to live with Him throughout eternity. (1 Peter 1:15-16, Hebrews 12:14, Matthew 4:23, Luke 22:15-20, John 13:4-14, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

Temple of God Church is a member in good standing of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (http://www.pawinc.org)
