It's time once again for our monthly Chicken & Biscuits Dinner, taking place this week on Thursday, September 3, serving between 4:00-7:00 pm. Liberty Chapel is located at 1330 Banetown Road in Washington PA. If you are willing, please bring along donations of non-perishable food items to benefit our outreach efforts as we partner with the Community Circle Food Pantry.

Hello everyone!
It's hard to believe that it is "Back-to-School" time in our communities. Many of you have children or perhaps grandchildren who have started/are starting their next school year.
Every student is asked to bring their backpack to worship at Liberty Chapel this Sunday, August 30th during worship at 11:00 am.
They will receive a blessing from me, as well as a free gift!
Please have your children and grandchildren attend this Sunday, along with their backpacks!
After worship, everyone is invited to our "Back-to-School BBQ Bash!" (see the attached poster). Ham BBQ sandwiches and beverages will be provided; please bring a side dish (salad, casserole, dessert, etc.) to share. There will be a Bible lesson, crafts, and more for all the kids of all ages after lunch.

Our next monthly Stuff-A-Truck food drive to benefit the Community Circle Food Pantry will take place this coming Saturday, August 8th from 9:00am until 12 Noon. FOOD DONATIONS would be greatly appreciated! As many of you may know, this food pantry is independent and strongly relies on the donations from churches like ours, as well as other organizations and families.
Please... please come and donate non-perishable food items to the church this Saturday... you will see the smiling faces of Bob Morgan and myself as you do! Remember--you have been blessed to be a blessing to others!

The WORSHIP and the CHURCH PICNIC LOCATION is CHANGING!!!
This Sunday, due to the extreme heat/humidity, we are changing the location of the 10:30 am Worship Service and Church Picnic to Liberty Chapel. Worship will be in the Sanctuary, and the picnic will follow down in the fellowship hall.

Our next Chicken & Biscuits Dinner will take place on Thursday, June 4th, serving between 4:00-7:00 pm at Liberty Chapel (located at 1330 Banetown Road in Washington). We are asking everyone who comes to consider donating non-perishable food items to benefit the Community Circle Food Pantry of Washington. Every person who donates food items will receive a free raffle ticket for a special door prize (a gift card for a local restaurant, a homemade pie, and a bouquet of flowers!). The winning ticket will be drawn at the end of the dinner (the winner will be notified by phone if they are not present at that time).

In the midst of uncertain times financially, there are many people who struggle putting food on the table for themselves or their family. Our monthly collection of food donations at Liberty Chapel will take place this Saturday, May 9th, between the hours of 9:00 am and 12 Noon. Please consider dropping off some food donations--items suggested for May include: corn, green beans, mac & cheese, tuna, spaghetti sauce, noodles, etc. Hope to see you in our church parking lot this Saturday morning!
