As we celebrate Black History Month and Women’s History Month with the powerful gospel stage production:
A Joyful Noise!
This POWERFUL production, written and directed by Marshall Opie, features a dynamic evening of live theater, poetry, history, music, and expression performed in one act.
Marshall Opie is an acclaimed national and international performing artist who has produced several theatrical works featuring renowned artists including:
• Tony Award Winner Melba Moore
• Stellar Award Nominee Shirley Murdock
• Grammy Award Winners Michael & Regina Winans
A Special Presentation for Our Youth
This marvelous evening of theater is presented through the vision and leadership of Sister Pearly Brown, who has brought countless Black History and Women’s History Month exhibits to First National Deliverance Center throughout the years.
This year, she was led to encourage our youth to participate in the First Annual Black History Essay Contest.
🏆 Essay contest winners will be announced during the program, and prizes and certificates will be awarded.
