Today, we begin 14 days of seeking God's face together through prayer, devotion, and intentional time in His presence.

Just as God stirred the hearts of His people in Ezra's day to rise up and rebuild His house, we believe He is still stirring hearts today🔥

Over the next 14 days, this is your invitation to respond to His call—to draw closer, deepen your faith, align your heart with His will, and allow Him to rebuild, restore, and strengthen every area of your life.

Service was amazing! Wouldn't you agree? 🙋🏽‍♀️🙋🏼

From the worship, to the Word, to the community, every moment made a difference.

The Holy Spirit filled the room, filled our hearts, and filled our lives. We didn't leave the same way we came.

Capital City is definitely the place to call home💙

What a beautiful way to close out our SEND Campaign ✨

From every prayer, every seed sown, every act of service, and every heart that said “yes” — we are grateful. Yesterday was more than a moment, it was a reminder that we are called to Give, Go, Build, and SEND.

Thank you to everyone who journeyed with us throughout this campaign. The impact will continue far beyond today ❤️‍🔥

This Sunday is the FINAL opportunity to give, commit, or pledge toward The Send. The window is closing, but there’s still time to be part of what God is doing through this mission.

Your generosity can help send the Gospel further, reach more lives, and make eternal impact. Whether you give, commit, or pledge, every act of obedience matters 🔥

We’ll see you tomorrow 💙

Yesterday, we had the honor of celebrating the Osei-Owusu family, and the atmosphere in the room was filled with so much gratitude💙

We are deeply grateful for their vision, sacrifice, leadership, and the countless ways they have poured into the Capital City District. Through every prayer, every act of service, and every seed sown, their impact has touched so many lives and helped build the Capital City community.

Thank you for your obedience to God, your unwavering dedication, and for leading with such humility and grace. Your labor has not gone unnoticed, and we are blessed because of all that you've done.

Words truly aren’t enough to express how thankful we are. We love and appreciate you immensely 💙

This Sunday, we open with love — not loss. This is not a goodbye; it’s a celebration. 💙

We honor a pastor, a leader, and a family who showed up faithfully, both seen and unseen. Through conviction, obedience, and heart, a church was built, lives were changed, and a community found a place to call home.

To everyone who has walked this journey with them, you know the impact, the prayers, the sacrifices, and the legacy that was planted here.

They are not leaving — they are being sent. And that is something worth celebrating.🙌🏾

Join us as we celebrate Pastor Yaw & Family | May 17th | 10:30 AM | Capital City Church, 4417 Douglas St NE, Washington, DC 20019
