Today Peace Fellowship Church joins in with many around the region to mourn and remember a pastor with a true heart for Deanwood, a devoted husband and father, a champion of cooperative economics in the Black community, and the President of the Missionary Baptist Minister's Conference of Washington DC and Vicinity.

To the Good Success Christian Ministry and the entire Joshua Generation Squad, our prayers are with you in this time of grief.

Paul Reminds us:

"Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him."

Join us this weekend for "Faith on the Frontlines" where we will hear from Pastor Jeffrey L Brown from Boston, Massachusetts, as well as local legends like Donald Isaac, Wanda Thompson, Julia Irving, Harold Dean Doc Trulear, Devin Turner and others about what it looks like for the faith community to help end community and state violence in our city.

Shout out to the Wednesday night Bible study crew who came out to The Strand for our last Bible study before Summer break! Revelation Chapter 8 left us on a major cliff hanger. We can't wait to see you after Summer break to go deeper into the Word!!!!

This past Sunday we were blessed to baptize 7 new believers!!!!!! God is moving!! Please pray for these new believers, and pray for the church that we might become disciples of Jesus who are faithful to Christ even in trying times!
