A time was truly had at Spring Green’s Annual Women’s Day celebration! We were blessed to welcome Rev. Mattie Marie Williams-Kearney of Metropolitan Baptist Church in Newark, NJ, who came back home to deliver a powerful and inspiring message to the women and all in attendance.

Her message centered around our theme, “Women Standing United on the Promises of God,” coming from Matthew 5:1-12. Through her dynamic preaching, she encouraged, uplifted, and reminded us of the strength we have when we stand united in faith and trust in God’s promises.

What an awesome day of worship, fellowship, and empowerment!

Spring Green’s Women’s Retreat this past weekend was truly awesome! The theme, “Women Standing United on the Promises of God,” was centered around Matthew 5:1-12 and reminded us of the strength, faith, and unity we have through Christ.

Each speaker delivered powerful and inspiring messages that uplifted every woman in attendance. Rev. Stephanie Battle of Word Tabernacle Church in Rocky Mount encouraged us with the message, “Be Strong My Sisters; God Has Not Forgotten.” Sister Alexis Henderson of Perfecting Praise Ministries shared a timely word entitled, “All Generations Standing United on His Promise.” First Lady Sharon King of Sarepta Baptist Church blessed us with the message, “Hold On My Sisters; God Is Faithful.”

A special thank you to Sister Brenda Bryant and Sister LaVern Evans for serving as co-chairs and leading such a wonderful and spirit-filled event. What a blessing it was to fellowship, worship, and grow together as women of God!

Mother’s Day Worship Service was truly powerful and uplifting. Pastor Loretta Burwell delivered a heartfelt message titled “A Real Mother,” based on First Book of Kings 3:16–28, reminding us of the wisdom, love, and sacrifice that define true motherhood.
