💡 OUR VBS FLOATER IS SHINING BRIGHT!! 💡✨

Meet Chastane - our incredible VBS Floater at Illumination Station VBS 2026!!

Do not let the title fool you - a floater is one of the MOST valuable roles on the entire team!! Chastane goes where she is needed most - lending an extra hand, covering for breaks, and simply being a calm and loving presence wherever kids or volunteers need her!! 💛✨

We asked Chastane:
💡 “What made you say yes to volunteering for VBS this year?”
💬 Chastane says:
“I volunteered to be more active with the church!!”
And we are SO glad she did!! 🙌💛

A heart that wants to show up and serve - that is exactly the kind of person God uses to do incredible things!! We are so blessed to have Chastane on the team!!

Try a 20–25 FOOT SUNDAE! 🍨😲

On Wednesday, June 11, we’re inviting everyone to Family Night at VBS at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church!

We’ll celebrate an amazing week of VBS with music, fun, fellowship, and a giant sundae that stretches 20–25 feet long!

🍦 Tons of ice cream

🍒 Lots of smiles
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Fun for the whole family

Pleasant Grove Baptist Church family - let’s LOAD THE TRUCK!! 🚛💛

We have an amazing opportunity to show God’s love in a very practical way this summer!

The Carrollton Baptist Association is collecting donations now through July 27th for the Georgia Baptist Children’s Home - and they need OUR help to fill that truck!

Here’s what they need:

🪥 Hygiene Items - toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo & conditioner, bar soap, deodorant, white towels & washcloths, pillowcases

🧻 Paper Goods - paper towels, toilet paper, Ziploc bags (all sizes), paper plates & bowls, plastic cups & utensils

🧹 Cleaning Products - 13 gal. trash bags and larger, Fabuloso, Lysol, toilet bowl cleaner, air freshener, laundry detergent pods, dryer sheets

🍪 Food Items - individual snacks, crackers, chips, cookies, canned ravioli & spaghetti

✨💡 OUR NEON SNACKS TEAM IS SHINING BRIGHT!! 💡✨

Meet Betty Tumlin, Sharon Moore, Caroldene Phillips and Grace Mayfield - our incredible Neon Snacks team at Illumination Station VBS 2026!!

Never underestimate the power of a kind face and a good snack!! 😄 These four ladies are going to fuel up our little lights all week long and we are SO grateful for every single one of them!! 🍬✨

They say the way to someone’s heart is through their stomach - and these ladies are going to make sure every child who walks through that door feels loved fed and welcomed!! 💛

We asked Sharon:
💡 “What does serving your church family mean to you?”
💬 Sharon says:
“I serve because I love Jesus and I want to be a light for Him.”

💛 A woman who serves at Illumination Station because she wants to be a LIGHT for Jesus!! That is not a coincidence - that is God!! ✨

We could not be more grateful for Betty, Sharon, Caroldene and Grace and the love they pour into every single thing they do for this church family!! 🥹

💡 OUR POWER SOURCE IS SHINING BRIGHT!! 💡✨

Meet Carl Hopkins and Dave Williams - our Power Source tech and A/V dream team at Illumination Station VBS 2026!!
Behind every great VBS is someone making sure the lights are on the sound is right and the slides are running - and that someone is Carl and Dave!! We literally could not do this week without them!! 💻⚡💛
We asked Carl:
💡 “What is one thing most people don’t realize goes into running tech for VBS?”
💬 Carl says:
“Just being flexible and adjusting on the fly!!”
Translation - when things go sideways on a Tuesday night with 25 excited kids in the room Carl is already three steps ahead fixing it before anyone even notices!! THAT is a pro!! 👏😄

We asked Dave:
💡 “What is your favorite part about serving behind the scenes?”
💬 Dave says:
“Carl is the main cog in the A/V service but I truly enjoy assisting him where I can and helping as needed. Helping helps a helper feel helpful!!”
😂😂😂 Dave we cannot argue with that logic!! 💛

These two make the PERFECT team - Carl keeping everything running like clockwork and Dave right there making sure Carl has everything he needs!! 🙌

🙏 Please pray for Carl and Dave as they keep The Power Source humming all week long at Illumination Station VBS 2026!!
