WHY DID GOD USE SHEEP? 🐑 | SUNDAY SERMON RECAP

What if the reason God compares us to sheep has more to do with our VALUE than our weakness?

Today’s sermon challenged us to look deeper into why God chose sheep to represent His people.

In biblical times, sheep represented wealth, prosperity, sacrifice, and future provision. Losing a sheep meant losing something valuable with the potential to keep producing.

🔥 HERE’S THE REVELATION:

Sheep were valuable enough to protect, yet vulnerable enough to need a shepherd.

God didn’t compare us to sheep because we’re worthless. He used sheep to illustrate our value and our need for His guidance, protection, and leadership.

Never become so confident in your own understanding that you forget your need for the Shepherd.

Community is more than gathering in the same room. It’s growing together, praying for one another, carrying each other through difficult seasons, and pointing each other back to Jesus.

God never intended for us to do life alone. We need people who will stand with us in faith, hold us accountable in love, and remind us of the truth when life gets heavy.

There is strength in community, growth in fellowship, and power in doing life together.
You don’t have to walk this journey alone. There’s a place for you here.
