Announcements for June 14

We welcome you to our celebration of the Holy Eucharist. All visitors are very welcome! This weekend we celebrate the Eleventh Sunday in Ordinary Time.

We will have a new website address as of Monday, June 15. Beginning then, you can visit us online at ourladyoflourdesvidor.com

On the second weekend of each month, you may bring non-perishable items and place them in the blue wagon in front of the church before Mass. United Christian Care Center of Vidor is very appreciative of Our Lady of Lourdes Church’s generosity.

A class will be starting in September for those wanting to learn more about the Catholic faith. The class will be designed for the non-baptized interested in the Order of Christan Initiation of Adults (OCIA), as well as for Christians baptized in another religion and also for baptized Catholics who never received Confirmation and/or First Communion. Please call or email the office to sign up.

Floral Arrangement Tribute
You can donate toward the floral arrangement in memory or honor of a loved one, to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, baptism or any other special family occasion or church feast. The name of the donor and the occasion will be published in the bulletin. Donation: $50.00

The Knights of Columbus are selling BBQ this weekend. Please see the bulletin for more information.

The diocese will be celebrating our sixtieth anniversary next month. In view of that, Our Lady of Lourdes Church will be having a Holy Hour next Saturday, June 6, from 1 to 3 pm.

Information about Summer Camp at Christ Central in Beaumont is available on the flyers in the vestibule.

A class will be starting in September for those wanting to learn more about the Catholic faith. The class will be designed for the non-baptized interested in the Order of Christan Initiation of Adults (OCIA), as well as for Christians baptized in another religion and also for baptized Catholics who never received Confirmation and/or First Communion.
